Right on, you go for it! It is a Biblical concept/instruction to meditate on the Lord, day and night. We should never be scared of meditating on God just because the eastern religions are into meditation. It does renew our mind, body and spirit.

The true sense of the word meditation is to fill your mind with the word of God!!
When visions came to the prophets of old, it was on God's terms .. not on their terms (not them going to meditate and then things happen!)
This all sounds a bit scary and familiar to me .. sounds like hinduism dressed up in a new name "christian meditation"
Jesus went off alone to pray!!! .. to talk to God the giver of life! not to meditate.
Please Lord God, shower your people with the true understanding, Amen
