You have met David foster , you are on the right track. You have a wonderful voice but all good classical singers need training to develop their instrument. David must know what you have to do, i hope he is helping you. You have the potential to be a famous singer, but it takes a lot of work to develop into a really good classical singer and I think that is your best area, Pop is not for you,to many people singing dumb songs.

@Savic He overpowers her voice because her voice is not meant to sing these type of songs. Her voice is weaker but very pleasant in the same time. I love her music too.

he's a very talented singer but i just dont thinks this song fits his talents. Andrea Bocelli sang this song to perfection. I guess my main critique has nothing to do with pitch or whether he sang it beautifully or not it's more of how the song doesnt fit the style of his voice. The song is more supposed to be the uniting of strong classical chops and a great contemporary voice where Chris falls into the middle of that where he has great classical technique but doesn't define his voice by it.

Flawless - Anyone who says he was flat needs to listen closer to Katherine McPhee's vocals - his voice was flawless. It is only when her voice clashes and overpowers his that it could be remotely interpreted as "flat." Sorry, but her voice is not the most pleasant to listen to at times in this performance, but Chris' is perfect.

Unfortunately Chris Mann tends to go flat often and strains to hit high notes. Straining is one thing but going flat is unacceptable, especially in classical music. Katherine Mcphee is coming along nicely with her own style. I def prefer the original performers of this song.

@TheBlox1 I was listening for sure. It is not every note but it's definitely noticeable when it happens even with Katharine, but eh..you can get away with a lot when you're in pop music. AUTOTUNE for recordings and then excuses for live performances like Taylor Swift. Chris' high notes are definitely mostly in tune, but the low notes suffer in this video; listen again to... 2:29, 2:38, 2:43, 2:47, 3:35, 4:21-23. But who's keeping track haha.

@TheBlox1 Also, I will give him kudos for crossing over into pop from opera. It's what I do from time to time and people are always judging when in fact opera singers can outsing most pop stars any day in their own playground. BTW I don't dislike him. I want him to succeed and we have to take criticism to do so. Don't sing flat, check those pitches, tweek, etc...
