I like the tension this song builds up, and the fact that it's the kind of (music) genre I like, but overall, it's not a very good song. I think most people just like it 'cause it's attached to this really popular (and epic) game. If it weren't, perhaps it wouldn't be so popular.

Also, I'm pretty sure it's not Alistair - pronounced Alister but spelt Alistair -, but the Grey Warden. The Grey Warden would probably be a male human noble sword and shield warrior by default.

Furthermore, the picture isn't Alister; it's bioware's version of the main character seen in the trailer (which also features Sten, Morrigan, and Leliana).
