@21richkid CM Punk? Did you ever watch the Alpha Male in TNA? He was one of the best ive ever seen. He always got the crowd interacting during matches, he had an amazing finishing move, and he was one of the best talkers to this day.

I've just hear a Dave Lagana podcast where they talked about the end of this match not being the original. Apparently, Vince tells the refs they have full authority inside the ring to do rule what they think is right, and in this case Marcus didn't follow the rules (not leaving the ring after the tag and not obey to the ref's 5 count) so the ref DQ him ending the match early. thats why they continued working and I assume the finish was indeed Burke tapping to Benoit's Sharpshooter.

@legacy101desire He was having arguments with his wife and they had a mentally unwell child so there was pressure on both of them. Add in money concerns? And you're right, he was brain damaged. None of the top guys have gone to ECW and come back to become champ as far as I can remember, and he was a hard working guy who had been in the business for a long time, considering he killed his family 2 weeks after he was drafted to ECW, I think it was probably a factor

@legacy101desire Punk is the same as RVD and the Dudleys, he was an ECW guy who came to WWE. They were never relegated back to ECW because it was their origin. Benoit was a WWE/WCW guy who got sent to ECW, it's a bit different. And I see Punk as an exception to most because he's so mellow and easy-going outside of the ring with his straight edge attitude, I cant see him being difficult to work with. Can be good on promos and an ok wrestler but not exactly a wild rock star like Michaels or Nash
