@cmlbelle I heard a super interesting theory from a fan of Broken Social Scene (band that does the song): It's the singer singing to her seventeen year old self. She liked herself back then for being 'one of the rotten ones' but since she's grown up, now she's 'all gone, got your make up on, and you're not comin' back.' At the end, when she says "Dream about me" it's her past self dreaming about what she'll be like in the future... AKA, her present self, who is singing to her past self.

It's breath taking and memorizing both at the same time. The choreography is stunning as well. This could pass for a real music video. This is PHENOMENAL! Truly, absolutely spectacular. Blows the official video out of the water, deserves every view it's had and more! Normally I would be scandalized at anyone other than Emily Haines mouthing those words, but you actually do it justice and that's saying something!

This was just stunning and wonderful to watch. All of the dancers involved were fantastic, natural movers, the choreography really did fit the song incredibly well, and to me it was actually as though a story was being told in an abstract way. Excellent song choice, by the way.

Props must go to the person who shot it, they're extremely talented, but your direction really was fantastic.

Ooh, and the locations were abolutely gorgeous. Particularly that empty barn(?) at the end.

no fog machine, i had a broom with me and i swept up all the dust from the floor and created the effect you see on camera. the sun was just in the right place... no machines or artificial lights were used on the whole shoot. :)
