In gambling on basketball, there is an Over/Under number that stands whether or not the combined score of both teams will be over or under that number.
For example, for a phoenix @ golden state game, the over/under bet might be 245, and you would have to be whether or not the combined score is more or less than that.

LAME!!! The Refs should have absolutely no power what so ever over people sitting courtside! Unless its clearly a case of verbal abuse and inteferring with the refs ability to do his job. But to be ejected for having a bit of banter is just absolutely ridiculous! Another example of the NBA giving far too much power to the officials! I think the refs have even bigger egos than the players!

there is no doubt in my mind the fix are on certain games...I live in vegas and gamble on nba games time to time and see the patterns throughout..
At that certain game at staples is a late start depending on how band the sportbooks and wagers were doing and how heavy bets were on the over, theres no doubt in my mind they dictated the under for that game..

Over/Under is a gambling term, you bet that the score is going to be "over" 218 points or "under" 218 points.
I think the guy is joking about a 2 billion dollar lawsuit, if he isn't he needs to fire his lawyer.

The over/under refers to how many combined points the teams will score in a game. In this case, it was 218. He was asking the referee to make sure it went over 218 so he could win some money. Since this didn't happen, he claims it's a conspiracy. They had a referee who had gotten in trouble for betting on games, and this referee is supposed to be one of the best in the league. So, he wanted to get this referee in trouble.
