;-) My favorite moment of that season was Dawn French appearing backstage and saying "what can i say? what can i do? can i take your genitals in my mouth and offer you relief?" ;-) hehe LOL
I'm kinda bored so thought I'd comment on this vid, which I loved. :) Like riggsy1980, I especially liked the One Note Samba/Johnny One Note section (damn, Bob does great arrangements! That's something I've really noticed lately!) Bob singing that fast, lyricy bit (God, I suck at describing things) had me in stitches, as did the part in Wives & Lovers where he sung, "Hey, little girl, better wear something pretty, the thing you've got on, well it looks kind of sh..."
Great to finally see footage from the S'Jazzy show think I've almost worn out my CD! it makes me howl with Laughter ever time, mind you my medication is strong nowadays,
WOW! I love the Johnny One Note section - that seems to be a lyrical bitch to sing but hats off to you Bob you nailed it and even managed a 'strike a pose' bit in the middle. I must say I was transfixed by those socks!
Thats halirious drop in your voice tone never gets boring! Great mannerisms as always!
You should see the people who come to our local Caberet club, there kinda like a tribute to you except thier not a comedy act, and very serious! Is Bob a creation thats pokes fun at some of Caberets less talented stars? What ever the case you know I think its great.
P.S - That joke about A picture paints a thousand words, had me screaming,
The Talk of London is sadly no more... an unbelievably glam, fun, gorgeous purpose-built cabaret room in Drury Lane! The shows went OFF. I think it's a store room now... seriously. :-(
