Sorry, thought I had put the music selection up in the info already. For some reason I neglected that. The music is from one of the songs (can't recall which) in the soundtrack Batman Begins. I just heard it watching the movie and said to myself, "Hmm, that would be good trailer music." The quick sharp drum heard throughout (sounds like a gun shot) was taken from the Casino Royal Trailer.
Yeah, it's good. But that's how today's movies are promoted - the great thing about past movies from all those years ago, was that when they promoted them, you didn't get the whole gist of what was going on.
In other words - this trailer makes the film to be darker than it is. If NbNW were made today, it would be filled with violence.
Anyway, great trailer - but those old movies also sold mystery; besides, NbNW is such a classic, that it could so easily be promoted incorrectly.
Brilliant - I like the way you didn't use the original music; as much as I love Herrmann's score, you've made the movie look even more exciting. I bet if you played this trailer to in a cinema nowadays, younger generations would pay good money to see it :)
awesome work! this is my all time favorite movie a watch it back to back all the time and to see what you did to the to this trailer is the highest tribute anyone could give thanks!
I made a NBNW trailer myself about a year ago, but YouTube made me take mine off after a claim by Warner Bros. of all people.
I just re-posted it, now including a disclaimer citing "Fair Use". you should check it out. I definitely like the pace of yours though, it's a lot less disjointed than mine. Mine sort of skips around a lot more. But I noticed that we both used Batman Begins for music. I also used Signs.
I've just noticed something: Alfred Hitchcock - British, Cary Crant - British, James Mason - British, Leo G. Carroll - British. Yet I've always thought of this as a classic American film...
Well done, indeed!

This is very clever! Though I must admit, I like Bernard Herrmann's music better. But I see your point. Super!

this is a very very good fan trailer, well done! Its strange seeing the application of modern film advertising techniques on an older film...
I think you could have brought Eve into it a little more though. ;)

Not bad, could be a little more exciting, but still well done.
