@weezzoos při posraný jízdě se dá dostat na 8/100... při normální na 10/100 a já jezdím za 13/100... rekord je jihlava-praha s průměrem 22/100 :)

I also had really a good time with my Passat V6 4Motion on the snow.. But this is how I broke my assisted direction :( (doing some donut's in the snow..)

haldex is fwd until they lose traction then the back wheels kick in to provide the extra wheel motion which is kind of a semi-AWD, quattro is torsen (torque sensing) which destributes engine power to each wheel per slip, other than that its permanent full time all wheel drive.

Yes haldex is quattro, but a other version.

My S3 quattro is a Haldex.

This passat has the torssen quattro but VW named it 4 motion.

@dualcoreandbmw quattro is just a name audi uses to brand their 4 wheel drive systems, real "quattro" is torsen based. all golf based cars TT, S3, A3 are all haldex which is no where near as good as torsen quattro

No it is not the same all wheel drive. Audi's Quattro is entirely different. They are similar, being the same company and all, but Audi has a much more supperior awd system.

Looks like fun tho! I love drivin my S4 in the snow!!

Torsen is Torsen.. there is no difference (when you compare same type) .. trust me ;) They don't make special torsen for audi ;) it's same as for all other cars that use it....

VW Passats have a very good low center of mass and nice dimensions to fit a 4 Motion system... the result is amazing on dry road and even on snow... Just a great car!

The VW "AWD" system isn´t that bad, but it has one big Problem, because the Haldex-diff isn´t measuring the traction mechanicaly but electronicaly takes it very long time to actually get the power to the tire/s with the most traction. The Torsen-diff (quattro) is measuring mechanicaly so it´s quicker and safer to driver. sry 4 Motion fans, but quattro is better. I´ve tried both in Norway on deep snow.

How was said before.. This Passat has Torsen not Haldex.  I'v got Haldex in Skoda Octavia II and Passat is wayyy better...

this is nearly same as quattro.. this passat isn't haldex but it's torsen.. only difference is that audi got 40:60 and vw got 50:50 ratio

Only last 'Quattro' has the 40-60 ratio.

Only the quattro with Torsen C.

Passat 3B is the same Quattro as Audi A4 b5,b6 and Audi A6 4b.
