  • @stjo555555 i know loll it was just a way of talking

  • Beautiful bird man and sounds great too!!!

  • My friends got an 84 trans am

  • I used to love spanking those 305/350 cars back in the day in my old 5.0, now I never see any on the road anymore -sigh-

  • On nice thank you I live in Colorado, will the car pass emissions without the airpump?

  • Sounds like beast! I too have an 84 and I'm going to be putting Hooker Headers w/ O2 on it, what did you do about the air lines and all the other crap that's connected to the stock exhaust manifolds? excuse my first typo.

  • I just ripped the air pump and lines out. It frees up space under the hood, and makes life easier. Don't do this if you lice in CA

  • Great looks and amazing sound!

  • I have a 1980 bandit turbo trans am, were these 1982-1985 5.0 trans ams faster and hotter then mine?

  • 82-85 v8 F-body cars were some of the slowest ever produced! 150-160 HP and 240 TQ in stock form. The only advantage they wold have over yours are handling, braking and weight. The body was one of the most aerodynamic GM had produced with a very low drag coefficient. I think the only reason they sold so well was because of the TV series Knight Rider.

  • @mastana613

they're not the slowest ever produced at all.

    the lowest horsepower? yes

but because of the lighter weight and healthy torque they were actually faster than most 60s/70s models

  • @mastana613 150 to 160 you say. lmao

  • How much torque? Can you burn the tires?

  • @turbotransam1980 These motors came stock with 240 ft lbs of torque. With the headers, full exhaust, and intake manifold I was probably pushing 260. And yes it did burn tires very easily. Watch the burnout video.

  • The Y-pipe did not fit, it was too wide. I had to cut out a 2 inch section right below the oil pan and then use a section of pipe with a slightly larger diameter to join the 2 remaining ends. I set it up on the car, made some marks on the y pipe and then took the pipe to an exhaust shop to weld the 3 pieces back together.

  • i have the flowtech headers and y pipe, how the hell did you get it to fit without hitting the oil pan or the k member? ive been messing with it for weeks trying to get it to fit but nothing works... if you have any tips please let me know, i tried with the headers loose first then with them tight etc etc...

    thanks

  • Wow that must piss off the neighbors! Nice tone
