  • who would watch this if it was a real show

  • @carcknellman536

    It is a real show...

  • @RabidSonicFan no i mean if it was called the plucky duck show

  • @carcknellman536

But it is called The Plucky Duck Show... it's a spinoff.

  • @RabidSonicFan i mean if it had more then one ep

  • @carcknellman536 IT IS

  • 0:19 is GENIUS! XD

  • this was a sement in Buster's Wonderful Life, wasn't it?

  • @PKMN37

They did a similar theme in that episode and even took some of the lyrics from this, but this is the theme for an actual Plucky Duck spinoff.

  • The show might not have been that great, but darn, that theme song is awesome.

  • I don't remember this show I might have thought I was watching Tiny Toons I don't know.

  • Plucky really didn't deserve his own show, they should've just kept going with Tiny Toons since this show had a lot of material from that anyway. The best thing about the show was the intro.

  • I don;t remember this show that well, I wish they would have given Fifi her own show though.

  • I actually like the lyrics to this better than the original Tiny Toons theme.

  • plucky is ducky

  • Shame that Plucky got his own show while Daffy got to be a back-up singer to the Bugs Bunny show opening.

  • this show was just recycled plucky duck cartoons from tiny toons

  • This didn't last long did it?

  • I've heard of this spin-off show, but I have never seen it!! :O

  • @webkinzrocks300

It is on DVD... albeit only the 1st season.

  • @chittycat1

Why should Buster Bunny get a spinoff? He was practically the star of the show anyway.

  • @RabidSonicFan because bugs bunny didnt get a spin off even dogh there was loonney tunes

  • @RabidSonicFan Fifi should have gotten a spinoff. The fans love her and wish she had a bigger role, and it could actually work really well if done properly. Unfortunately, the execs hate her or something, since she only got 4 shorts of her own despite her army of fans. Instead, we got Pinky, Elmyra, and the Brain, which ruined Pinky and the Brain and is one of the reasons why cartoons these days suck. Seriously, what were they thinking? The fans and even the writers HATE Elmyra! Stupid execs!

  • @DjLesD

If the writers hated her, then why did they create her in the first place, anyway?

  • Comment removed

  • @RabidSonicFan As Elmer's student, just like how the other Tiny Toons are the students of the other Looney Tunes. Unfortunately, some stupid executive loved her, though (Despite that both the writers and majority of Tiny Toon Adventures fans hate Elmyra, for obvious reasons), so they were forced to use her WAY more than they would have, eventually being forced by the executives to create that spinoff. One of the writers even LEFT because of that spinoff!

  • @DjLesD

"It's what the network wants, why bother to complain?"

  • @RabidSonicFan Yes. You can tell right there that the writers despised what they had to do.

  • @RabidSonicFan And it sped up the cancellation of Pinky and the Brain.

  • I really wish there had been a Plucky Duck spinoff. He was the best. The voice actor Joe Alaskey pretty much used the same voice for Daffy later on in DUCK DODGERS.

  • @Baldenlong77

This IS the Plucky Duck spinoff.

  • @RabidSonicFan

I know but it only lasted one episode! Meanwhile Tazmania was on for like what three seasons? I love Taz btw.

  • @Baldenlong77 There was, this was a REAL show.

  • @DropDeadModest

Yeah but there was like one original episode. The rest were stuff taken from Tiny Toons!

  • @Baldenlong77 Probably the most pointless TV show ever. It still strikes me as something of a fraud played on us kids. I remember double checking the TV Guide during the second episode to make sure I was watching the right show. What a gyp!

  • @Baldenlong77

oddly enough... Duck Dodgers is the ONLY Looney Tunes related show to NOT have Bugs Bunny at all. Yet it introduces alot of Green Lanterns in animated forms.

  • bugs and buster got nothing on daffy and plucky

  • Plucky was always my favorite character on this show.

  • wait a minute why is babs laughing at Plucky when he drops anvils on her?

  • Pluckey had his own show? I think Little Beeper should have his show.

  • I love the ending when Buster and Babs are watching the intro

  • Nostalgia.

  • I also wrote this song! Is my favorite lyric! (:

  • lol, fox KIDS did this?

    The writers are hackers

    The artists all went crackers

    The actors are yakkers

    But don't complain, it's free

  • @alinhoalisson that's because the writers of the 90s were flawless bitches who didnt take no shit from dem executives. not like the writers of today. you should listen to The Pinky, Brain and Elmyra intro. man, they were BITTER when they wrote that song.

  • @alinhoalisson Haha, not free anymore. Darn.

  • @alinhoalisson SOunds like alot of their shows.

  • @alinhoalisson So the parents watching with their kids could get a laugh too. Same deal with Animaniacs; they made fun of adult stuff all of the time.

  • I always liked Daffy and now that Plucky is finally ygetting his due then that is sweet relief!!!

  • Well... he got his due 16 years ago. There were 13 episodes... 12 of which consisted of material from Tiny Toons.

  • @RabidSonicFan True only the first episode was orginal and it later appeared on Tiny Toons I was disapointed in this extrmely.

  • "I also wrote this song" LOL classic Plucky

  • plucky duck rocks !

  • thanks for uploding this video i like it

  • Love the memories. ^^

  • A really really cool thing to do is open both this clip and the original Tiny Toons intro then set them up so they're both in synch with each other. :-)

I just tried that and it was awesome! :-) It really gives you an idea of how well done this track is. :-)

  • I have never seen this but is hilarious!

  • Hahaha... excellent.

  • I remember this opening! And no, I never noticed the rescue rangers parody before. Good eye!

  • When did Plucky gets his own show?

  • Anyone catch the Rescue Rangers parody at 0:06?

  • No, I never noticed that! XD

  • I gotta say that I completely agree with midknightryder13 about what was said with parodies being more difficult to write than an original song since you not only have to make the lyrics fit the beat, they have to rhyme and it actually has to make sense.

I've done a few parodies and I found that the hardest thing for me was finding words to fit the beat and still have it make sense. :-)

I gotta give credit to the person who wrote this song (and we all know it wasn't Plucky...lol) :-)

  • Indeed. It may be easy to write new lyrics, but it's not easy to have them make sense.

  • That's for sure! :-) I remember, when writing a few parodies, thinking, "Okay, this doesn't make sense...what if I change this to that...now THIS doesn't make sense..." lol

Parodies, in my opinion, are definitely much harder to write. :-) With an original song, all the artist has to do is come up with lyrics since they can change the music to fit it.

Parody artists don't have that luxury, unfortunately. :-)

  • I did a TTA marathon and saw a similar intro for "The Plucky Duck Show", but they showed him working with Babs (I think it was the TTA Christmas special). I was surprised to find out that this was actually a real show. lol

Maybe, with that scene in the special, they were trying to test the waters to see how Plucky would do with his own show. :-)

  • and there only was one episode of this

    yeah this did great

  • Actually, the show came out a year or two before the Christmas special.

  • I saw this intro once on Cartoon Network during a showing of Tiny Toon Adventures!

  • dudeee congratz its super waky he is like me an ego-maniacy

  • Is there a Buster Bunny solo cartoon ?

  • No. But there was going to be one for Elmyra called "Elmyra's Family". Two episodes were made for it, but both episodes ended up being used for Tiny Toons, with "Elmyra's Family" being cancelled.

  • Have Plucky a show?

  • Er... yes?

  • Have you a good grammar?

  • lol I'm sometimes tempted to say things like that.

  • Woah I didn't know Plucky got his own show. That's plucking awesome

  • I think there about 13 epsoides but it was cancelled.

  • Yes. And only the 1st had original content.

  • Pluck yeah.

  • This is VERY impressive. Taking an already existing theme and writing a whole new set of lyrics to it.

I'm constantly amazed at the downright cleverness of the people who do this, they make the finished product look so easy. I wonder how many 'false starts' they had before they finally arrived here?

  • Indeed. Who knows how many there could have been... I bet it would be pretty funny if someone asked that to Tom Ruegger. lol

  • Dude...it's a parody.

  • And your point is...

  • Correct and if you ask any songwriter, they will tell you that PARODIES are much more difficult to write than a completely original song.

  • They did the same for Pinky and the Brain's theme (many times, including Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain), and the Animaniacs Theme, and wrote in "Freakazoid and Friends," including the words "Candle Jack" for the names of the - *gets tied up by Candle Jack* - Villains.

  • THANK YOU! I've been looking for this! I didn't think anyone had this. I have half the song on a VHS somewhere.

Pity they didn't really give this show a chance, I mean would it have killed them to actually make NEW episodes instead of just rerunning Tiny Toons ones?

  • They were going to. But FOX only ordered the pilot, which was the only new episode. So in order to have a complete season, WB made the rest of the episodes have reruns. (Although the 2nd episode was entirely made out of Season 3 TTA material that hadn't aired yet, which kinda made it new)

  • Yeah if they could have made more episodes, they should have made more episodes with Plucky dropping anvils on Babs. That's what the fans wanted to see. Not Ducklahoma reruns, especially without an explanation as to why Plucky was being pummeled again.

  • It's a shame there weren't more episodes. IMHO The Return of Batduck was one of the best episodes of Tiny Toons. It would have been interesting to see what they would have come up with for more new material.

  • i like tiny toons better it had the whole cast

  • So do I, honestly.

  • I have to admit that Plucky Duck is pretty muck Daffy Duck when it comes to personality and the voice, but the rest of the tiny toons have their own personality that is different from the looney tunes. That's just me though.

  • Kinda. But Plucky is somehow... cooler. I don't know why.

  • Yeah you have a point there and he's kind of funnier too.

  • Agreed.

  • Well, technically Babs and Buster are a lot like Bugs Bunny. Babs is like the 'trickster' Bugs from the 40's and Buster is like the calm and clever Bugs from the 50's and onward.

  • Also Babs can do impressions like Bugs Bunny.

  • I had no idea Plucky had his own show...

  • Understandable. It only ran for 13 episodes and never had reruns.

  • Mainly because it only had one original episode and reruns of episodes starring Plucky in particular.

  • It was FOX TV who came with this!

  • Actually, FOX TV canned it. They only ordered the pilot episode. lol That's why all of the others are reruns.

  • Could you please upload the whole video for "Can't Beat The Rap" from "Tiny Toon Adventures- Gang Busters"?

  • I'll try to.

  • They should of gave Buster his own show lol

  • I thought that too. XD But I guess being the star of most of the Tiny Toons games is enough for him. XD

  • That would be Tiny Toons

  • and before anyone replies to me and says "No it's the Plucky Duck show idiot! They're different" I was replying to someone else's comment about giving Buster his own show.

  • The Plucky show was just a bunch of plucky shorts tied together save for one original episode.

  • Uh huh

  • uhm.. yeah?

  • 4 reelz

  • I have forgot about Plucky having his own show this intro reminded me. Plucky is my favorite out of the rest.

  • Plucky's my favorite too. I love his sarcastic sense of humor and the fact that he stars in most of the parodies.

  • True. I guess I should be content with 100 episodes. XD

  • Technically, 99 episodes and 1 direct-to-video movie.

  • ... or 95 episodes, considering that one of them is the only original episode from The Plucky Duck Show and 4 are just the direct-to-video movie divided into 4 episodes.

  • I think a lot of "Tiny Toons" fans forgot about this. It was only on for 13 episodes, and only 1 of them had original material.

  • Yeah, that's most likely a big factor. Although it's 2 if you count the second episode, which was made up entirely of segments from Season 3 of TTA that didn't air yet at the time.

  • You got me there.

Also, Kids WB! didn't cancel "Tiny Toons", FOX Kids did. Although I don't understand why WB wouldn't bring it back for their block.

  • Yeah. One would think that Warner Bros. would bring back one of their most succesful shows for their own block. (What makes it even weirder is that they did it for Animaniacs anyway)

  • Well, "Animaniacs" was the #2 television show with a children-based demographic at the time, only behind "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers".

  • Actually, they DID show "Tiny Toons" on Kids' WB! - but only in reruns - from 1997 through 2000.

  • That begs the question of why they didn't show new episodes, given how successful it was (especially with younger viewers, which is what the WB executives wanted anyway).

  • They wanted a show that wouldn't be as violent as the earlier endeavors, and yet, they made Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain. They could've made a Sequel/Crossover of Animaniacs and TTA, that took place in Acme Acres, where Yakko, Wakko, and Dot, and Skippy Squirrel would go to Acme Loo, and Slappy and Lola (Babs' possible mentor) would be new members of the staff. That, and Pinky and the Brain would STILL live with Elmyra, no matter what.
