I have no experience with Monkey fighters myself as this video was made almost a year before their release. Pyramid Plunder is fairly simple once you get a hang of it. RuneShark has a guide that explains pretty much everything you need to know. ( Youtube ID is /watch?v=eSx1Tc8Fz9g )

is the probability of getting a random event bassed off of getting a certain ammount of exp? i have NEVER read anything suggesting/saying so but this video does.

Probably. I saw a discussion about this on tip.it's forums some months ago, but since I don't feel like reading thousands of pages either I won't bother trying to find it. :P

Also, when I trained Summoning on my main account I got a random every 420K-450K XP. Was quite amusing knowing you'd get a random within the next few minutes.

It's a simple formula. Randoms aren't random, they are based on how much XP you get in a certain amount of time. This video proves it.
