Phenomenal, bearing in mind that that her speaking voice is very soft and reedy. Also she works that axe!
To all you haters keep in mind this interview was done in the morning, miss Calvi was disappointed with her performance at the end of video. But I can't blame people who are tunned to voices the have been engineered and can't appreciate anything authentic. Hope to hear more of this girl soon.
I find her singing/shouting painfully mannered, fake vibrato, excessive "darkening", etc. Plus, she sings flat almost exclusively. Interesting, yep. Promising, yep. But all the fawning is really out-of-control.
@sgabriel I agree with you. I find it painful to hear someone singing off-pitch. Sorry, but I don't think the singer in this video has much of a voice. Luckily there is good music elsewhere.
