    Noam Chomsky....hmm.

    I do think critically about this you know, maybe I come across as knee-jerk sometimes but its not like that I swear. You know what he makes me think of? Have you read Lenin's Left Wing Communism - An Infantile Disorder?

    Lenin spends a great deal of time talking about right opportunism, I think this accurately depicts Chomsky.

  • Well, I haven't read Lenin very deeply. I've only read State and Revolution in a study group on the organization I'm in right now (a teachers and students movement called FNERRR), but it was a fast read.

    A long time ago, when I was in Highschool I tried to read 'Materialism and Empiriocritcism' but I found it so superficial I dropped it after a few pages. I've told you I'm reconsidering my views on Lenin, but I certainly think he was no epistemologist.
