@TheScottishwolf Odds are the creators know this but they must base the story on already existing DC characters and when most storylines of this sort were handled back during the actual war by Marvel or DC, they had only focused on the American side since, well, that was back when America really did only care about America. As such, this has an impact on future generations in this way. To be culturally diverse would mean to change the material entirely. It sucks, but true.

I think this one was made in honor of July fourth or D-day. 3/4s of this episode is incrediable inaccurate and may counter series cannon but for a weekend popcorn epi its midly entertainment. Plus the part where the black hawks dove in was a fitting tribute to thier comic counterparts.

These are clearly tributes to Captain America & the Defenders. I've tried to catch others too.
