  • Like the video, but I just gotta say this chick is HOT... Ashley E-mail me!! :)

  • Well, Josephus was born in 37A.D. How could he have met Jesus? (swing and a miss)

  • @qwertywrangler ...OK then. Using your logical premise, did Julius Caesar exist?

  • @pierre777able Yes. There were hundred, if not tens of thousands of events recorded DURING Ceasar's life and reign.

  • @qwertywrangler ....sorry, by your definition, they are not "verifiable".

  • @pierre777able Either you are a troll, or a moron, either way, you are 'certifiable.' Since you have nothing intelligent to say, I'll leave it at that.

  • @qwertywrangler ....so you can't face the simple fact that there are at least 3 different eyewitnesses to Jesus' existance - that is of no consequence & not "verifiable", but you are willing to accept any other evidence for a historical figure, because it suits your argument. Perhaps you should review your assessment of what a moron is? You dismiss the single most important figure in history, because to your mind, there isn't enough "evidence". Suggest you google "did jesus exist" then grow up.

  • @pierre777able I didn't say he didn't exist. I said that there are no writings of his teaching, that were put on paper (screaming in ear) DURING HIS LIFE!!! I call miracles into question, not existence. See? You read me wrong. Moron? Me? I think not. Buddha is another highly important figure. His teachings weren't written down for over 500 years after his life. Simple... sit around a campfire, tell stories, perfect character, start writing. Your move bub.

  • @qwertywrangler ...yeh, I'm still having a problem with your point. So let me see if I have this straigh: because things were were not written down during Jesus' life, things that He did are not to be accepted as real? We do seem to be having a comprehension issue, because I never said that you were a moron. WRT Pauls writings, as a good example; chained between 2 pretorian guards, stuck in a dungeon, great place to embelish stories, makes perfect sense. Not.

  • @pierre777able This is starting to sound like Farmville.

  • @qwertywrangler ...if I knew what "farmville" was, i may/may not agree with you :)

  • @pierre777able Exactly.

  • @qwertywrangler ...might I therefore, point you to the following as being relevant to your question

Simon Greenleaf, 1874. The Testimony of the Evangelists. New York, NY: 28

  • @pierre777able That thing is full of holes. How many Google searches did it take to find it?

  • amazing:)

  • Just from Holland: gread to listing to your story

  • @qwertywrangler Two thing: did anyone take you up on this & what is acceptable to you as "evidence" ?

  • @pierre777able One 'thing'... Anything verifiable

  • @qwertywrangler hows about the wroitings of Josephus on Jesus?

  • So does Ashely support the 700 club's position on supporting God's will in killing 100K HUMAN BEINGS in Haiti.

I know this isnt Kriti Watts, but if you are 700 club, you are a bigot.

  • @georgep922 what did you just say?

  • @georgep922 Is that a statement that the 700 club made - that God killed 100K people in Haiti?

  • @pierre777able

Thanks for asking, I had to look up the context of my statement.

Robertson said this to Kristi Watts and she said nothing

  • @georgep922 Hi. OK, had a look at the video - but the underlying assumption from many people is that God is smiting people too and fro because they made a pact with satan etc. If I might pose a question or two then: take a commandment - for example "don't murder". On the basis that God gives that commandment to people, for whose benefit does He give it - do you suppose is it so that we can meet His standard or is it so that we can avoid the resulting poo-storm that happens when we do?

  • @pierre777able

I would agree with the premise of your question: "On the basis that God gives that commandment to people, for whose benefit does He give it ..." answers the question. In my opinion, I know that God as taught, does not take vengeance on innocent people because they don't worship him. Thats a terrible way to justify suffering, to blame it on a deity. People who assume that god kills for being smitten, have chosen a very vain god.

  • @georgep922 ...and, at the same time, we have, to some degree at least, take the consequences of our actions. If Mr Robertsons statement regarding Haiti is true - that the Haitian people (by representative) made a deal with satan to get them out from under the heel of the French, then if is reasonable to me that what is happening in Haiti is the outcome - if satan is here to "kill, steal or destroy" then I'm thinking I know who is doing the work.

  • great video
