She didn't say all Asians talk on the phone in the library. She said that many at UCLA did. Making it an observance as opposed to racism. As for saying "Ching chong ling long" she was making it clear she was imitating an Asian talking on the phone. If she were not to have catered to a extreme stereotype would it have been as recognizable? Bottom line - assuming she was attempting to be racist and hurtful isn't the moral course of action here.
