  • As I said before, I'm touchy about anyone redoing Keith Whitleys music. But James, you do it justice. You have a wonderful voice. And I think even Keith himself would have enjoyed listening to you. I know we do. So for your fans here in ohio, please keep'em coming.

  • You are just the best James! Loved you before, love you now ... so glad things are gong great for you! :)

  • GREAT JOB!!! you just keep gettin' better.-J

  • Great tone in your singing. Very well done!

  • just amazing james, awesome voice you have a great talent bestowed on you!

  • Excellent as always! I also love when you sing Keith Whitley songs!

  • Hombre I've watched James Dupree videos. I just love his style. I just hope he doesn't sell out and start playing country rock/disco like I hear on the radio now-a-days. When I turn on a country station I can't tell if it's really a country station anymore.

  • The next Randy Travis is on the scene, and ready to kick some butt. Go for it James...

    Your ole pal, Ed

  • Brotha that beats the hell out of riding in that Ambulance dont it. Great job....You had a Death Grip on that MIC. Hey i would have to. It sounded great.

  • great job, I live around 30 miles south of you, I would like to see you live. Keep it up.

    A #1 fan,

    Larry

  • Totally awesome man ! You're starting to loosen up a bit up on that stage and sounding even better .Very professional with the band but I gotta say, I prefer the raw acoustic stuff better ! .Either way , Awesome !Best of luck in that career ,from a fan on the other side of the pond.

  • What can we say James? You ROCK!!!

  • I can't believe I had to miss your shows. You sounded awesome, but that's nothin new!! Hopefully I can make it to the next one. Keep me posted!!!

  • Sounded like they played Amarillo a little too fast for how it actually should be sang. Oh well still awesome.

  • James you have the most beautiful voice!! When you sing the song you feel it, but when you finish singing it don't forget to kill us with that smile of yours!

  • Loved it thanks for the great entertainment! Keep it up!!

  • I come from china.I want to make friends with everyone.

  • WOW James ... This was outstanding!! I didnt realize you were that tall. LOL If anybody is going to make it in this business its going to be you my friend. (5*) Sherry

  • Great Job James!

  • thanks for another one. keep on keeping on james!

  • great job man been watching you for awhile now bets better everytime i want you to sing at my wedding !!!!

  • Don't forget to enjoy yourself when your on stage. No matter what you sing make it your own! Your going to have to start dressing the part too. That means a cowboy hat, boots shined, shirt tucked in, and a big belt buckle. Remember that you are selling yourself. Thanks for keeping your youtube fans informed.

  • Thanks! Glad you liked it. Though hats and belt buckles aren't my thing, and I'd like to think that people wouldn't expect me to look like every aspiring country singer who thinks they have to look and dress like Strait in order to get noticed. George has his own style and sound, and because he is successful, singers try and mimick everything about him, all the while abandoning the idea of creating their own style. Just my thoughts...lol. Thanks again!

  • my thoughts exactly, james... find your own way, bud. you have a good head on your shoulders, enough to know what look fits your style. (it's funny how you get one comment telling you not to sell out and then another not far below telling you to follow the crowd)

you're more blessed than you could ever imagine. wish i could make it back home to eunice more often...

the comment about enjoying yourself on stage is good advice, though. don't ever forget that.

  • @jamesdupremusic - no but a shirt not tucked in isn't professional.

  • really enjoyed listening to you. look forward to the next videos.

  • Great job JD

  • Whoo Whooo...wish I could have been there

  • Poised and professional. Another great performance - congratulations!

  • James you make me sick ...i have played in my own way, and sang for more years than i care to remember, an i'd just like to be reasonable at it. i have listened to your songs for quite a while now and it makes me realise i still have a long long way to go......but i am 61 think i left it a bit to late to worry about it. James your bound for a great future an i wish you all the best ......Oh yeah Thanks for the pleasure of listening to you.....Eddie

  • Once again, simply awesome! What an enjoyment to listen too. You are a special young man and talent. Go get em, young man!

  • You did a wonderful job!

  • James....Another great job...Thanks for sharing...You are a very talented young man.

    5*****'s and favored....Brenda

  • Really well done - you have a great voice

  • Just great , James. Who's in the band? Nice steel guitar, Thanks, PN.

  • Fantastic! Keep posting and keep playing. Really enjoyable.

  • You have a great voice, a nice five rate for you.

  • sounds great !

  • great singing. play your guitar next time, it gives your hands something to do while your singing. :)

  • James, this was awesome loved it.

    Super 5 stars

  • James, you just put goose bumps on me....

  • Very well done James, your getting it done young man...your are a star

  • You did a dandy job on these two songs James. The band did a good job too, especially on the last one. All you need now is a cowboy hat to top it all off. Timimg will either make you or break you in the long run, remember that friend cause you have the voice. Go get-um!

  • Great performance! This is one of my favorite rodeo songs!

(Did ya like the collab video I made with you and me singin' Mr. Bojangles?)

  • Loved it! Thanks John

  • great job as usual cant wait for more man when you coming to n.w. arkansas? would love to see you live,i agree with the man below that you need your own band to show off your own sound but hey whatever you do will be great. say howdy to your family have a good one

  • Oh, my goodness, James, you did an AMAZING JOB on those songs!!!

I also enjoyed the great background music!!!

Thanks for this, and I look forward to your next video!!!

    Have a great week!!!

    Larry.

  • i never go around mirrors....damn good brother

  • Great to see you playing out! Keep it up. You should start your own band! You can control your own sound better that way!

  • ive seen them all and i like every one of them keep em coming
