I must have been late...I ordered a test from D action and it cost $40. However, that is much cheaper than buying one online or going to the doctor. Of course my Insurance wont pay for a Vitamin D test and the doctors want $65-$85 for the office visit plus the cost of the test.

@gledalac1979 Your question assumes that 'vitamin D' deficiency is the *cause* of your health issues.

The reality is that you likely have a sub-clinical infection which is actually causing the low 25-OH D serum levels. I would surmise that your doctor didn't order the test for bioactive form of vit D3, which is 1,25 dihydroxy cholecalciferol.

If I were you I would check out the Marshall Protocol. There is much controversy over the protocol b/c his theory challenges the orthodox views.
