Pearl Export kit.. Poplar shells. One of the best low to intermediate drumkits ever. I personally think that POPLAR is a bit underrated, but that's just my opinion. Pearl shells are some of the best out there. Personally, these shells are tuned quite a bit lower than I would have them, but it's all personal preference! Great vid!
cheers buddy, probably a combination of fine tuning and the heads I use. Remo Pinstripe on the top and Ambassador coated on the bottom. Don't wanna patronise you, but alot of ring comes from the bottom heads as this is where the sound resonates from.

Not a fan of pinstripes. The 12" always sounds amazing, but I hate the sound of the 13" and 16" I had on my kit.

Sabian all the way!

dont meen to be rude but the quality is really bad , you could probably get a sound by using a desk microphone for the whole kit
kickflipindy78 1 year ago
@kickflipindy78 the mics you can see weren't recording for this video, the poor quality of sound is due to the bad quality camera microphone

Sounds good but your floor tom needs to be lower. :)

your snare doesn't sound very good, it sounds more badly, but you can tune it alright!

you need to turn your batter heads up like 1/4 turn and i think that would help but awesome kit man

excellent sound check. How did you get your toms to sound like that? Mine have a really annoying long ring but they are tuned fine. I dnt get it.

@tommdrum99 They are, I have the same ones. My kit doesn't sound this good lol but that probably has something to do with the ancient heads.
