I always felt that Jerry Rice and Chris Carter were even players, both players posed just as much as a threat to any team that played against them. Rice and Carter were always head to head in stats and Rice in the end won the stat race, turning Rice into the MJ of football. I tell you one thing though, Rice couldnt make the signature sideline catches that carter made on a weekly basis ;)

To me, the greatest Viking player ever to suit up was Chuck Foreman. There are many other great players, including Moss. But Foreman caught about as many balls a year as, not to mention he was also gaining 1000 yards a season.

Carter, one of the best ever. The saying was "He just catches touchdowns" (who was that, Berman?) but he was really Mr. Clutch. Huge 3rd down plays, Carter was seemingly always on time. I'd take Carter over Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, you name him. Great, great receiver.

Yea Carter deserves to be in the HOF more than Irvin. This guy was my Favorite player, he was great, sad day when he decided to call it quits.

I will never forget in 2001 I think against the Fins on a 3rd and long he got a basic 10 yard reception. But the thing was he dove and one handed it like a couple inches off the ground. Simply amazing!
