@jf99151 what makes u say that? i mean their website has been under maintenance forever, but i'm still wondering why they should close down? they got rave reviews from all sides.
Sounds nice...Q: When it comes time to change the battery, is it located inside the guitar with access through the sound hole? if so ,is that a pain to deal with?
Yes, the battery is placed inside. Just loosen the strings, get the battery out of the holder, replace it and get the guitar back in tune. You can do that in just a few minutes.
The batteryholder sticks to the inside of the guitar, but in my case the glue let loose. I have it fixed now with duct-tape.
The GX-performer (as shown on the picture) has deeper body. If I recall correctly it got the common outside "slide in" system for the battery.
Thanks for the nice words! It's recorded trough the onboard-pickup, plugged directly in the computer without using any effects.
Although I can't remember in what setting it was. You can blend the input using the piezo or the other onboard pickup (I guess It's a microphone but I never found out where the mic is). The I-mix / I-beam is amazing, you could actually set it up to make the guitar sound like a double-bass ;)
"plugged into my pc, to give you an idea of how it sounds" perfect -_-

The CA brand of guitars is awesome. We just received the "Cargo" model and the reaction has been excellent.

I am going to make a carbon fiber version of my Ovation guitar one of these days. I really like this sound.

It really does rock! But it has some disadvantages, so I like the GX-version better. Still I really like the X, it's amazing!

Sounds REALLY REALLY good... Love that tune, my friend. So that's through the on-board pickup? Crazy. Sounds too good.
