Wow the show was great and GiGi will be missed. I hate TV as most of the shows I am interested in ends to quickly. Sick and tired of 100's of reality shows. SO boring watching people be happy only to win money at the end. How boring.

Farscape was killed before its time, it is one of the great SCFI shows and I still watch it perodically on my DVDs. Claudia was smoking and the show was extremly orginal. The SCFI channel had a gem and they threw it away and really never reached that level of entertainment again. In fact now days they show hardly any SCFI on the channel, it is mostly wrestling and reality crap.

I just can't watch anything on syfy. or the old Scifi channel... they just don't have anything worth watching since Farscape.. They keep putting such shitty shows on that cost just as much to make. I guess Quantity is more important than Quality.

This was one of the best shows to EVER hit the airwaves. I was the only show that I sent HATE mail and an email to the network for concealing the show. Yes I know they made "The Peacekeepers War" (I have it on DVD). But at the time I wrote the letters I didn't know about it. To this day I think SCI-FI, er, syfy shot themselves in the foot. As I watch what syfy becomes it makes me sad. It seams less likely that Great shows like that of Farscape will come from the once great SCI-FI Channel.

I feel that there won't be a space sci-fi this good or better for another decade, even the last stargate is a disapointment, took the worse from bsgalatica and merged into an annoying shaky camera space soap opera >:(

Farscape. By far the best SciFi serie ever. And that probably was it's downfall. Too good for the shallow mindless herds living their ignorant sorry lives without even knowing of this serie. Don't know what is the saddest, the forced ending of Farscape or the sad fucks that didn't watch it....

This was undoubtedly one of the best series that I have ever seen. Of course shows and series changes from time to time, but this was a major loss. I have seen TOO FUCKING MANY UNENJOYABLE SERIES go on for a long fucking time. They were shit, and just straight up SUCKED ASS. Good shows don't come along very often. Why this had to end so suddenly blew my mind. I wanted to throw my TV out the window. If you had a hand in ending this, FUCK YOU, YOU COCKSUCKER!

Farscape is the best Sci-Fi TV series ever. Better than Stargate, Battlestar Glactica, Firefly and even better than the excellent Star Trek. The ratings were good and many critics were calling it the best show on TV. It just seems to make sense to me that if you have something good, keep it. So why did they cancel it?

The ratings WEREN'T good, and the show was very expensive. The show was absolutely perfect in every way, but studio and channel execs look at ratings and ratings only. That's pretty much all they care about.

Y'know, I'm a big nut for anything science fiction, and I've loved a lot of SF shows of the past, but Farscape was the very first show that was MINE. Nobody else I knew really got it, they didn't follow it, but I did. I followed the chats, I read the articles, I bought the stuff, I snapped up the DVD's the day they came out (even the first season, which came out as multi-episode sets, not as a full season). Farscape made me proud, and then it broke my heart. I'll always love this show.

I think that's one of the reasons why I fell so hopelessly in love with the thing, because it's not a household name. It's a universe that I alone enjoy. Doctor Who is too frigging BIG in this country that it's hard to enjoy it on the same level (and it's not as good, obviously). It had such a huge, epic scope, yet it was made especially for me. I miss it - since Farscape's death television in this country at least has deteriorated to a soggy, noisy, humourless puddle of watery shite.

DW has some issues with being TOO loved, so if the story takes some wrong turns, nobody will know it because the praise is unrelenting. I was sad to see Farscape go, but at least Stargate Atantis' imminent cancellation proves you can't broadcast a hopelessly inane show forever (well, at least not for five years, anyway).

That was the thing that always bugged me about other shows. Trek had US,English,Irish,Scottish,Indi­an actors but no australians. As Australia is often predicted by futurists to be the 'USA of the 21st century' it seemed so odd to me. And here was a sexy,wild,magical universe where ALL the aliens sounded like me!

A brilliant show.

I never watched Farscape when it was broadcast. I saw puppets and prosthetics and it looked like pantomime so I changed the channel. I've just been looking at the DVDs from the first season and am amazed by the quality. If these episodes are representative, cancellation was a mistake.

They did it with Firefly and made a great movie called Serenity and it was a great success.....Now lets do it with Farscape and have a big budget feature film I am sure it would be a massive hit....Its great to see the actors without there costumes and makeup on .....Thanx for this post

Yes, this was a heart break. But now that SG-1 is over with, Ben and Claudia might get a call from David Kemper and Brian Henson. Maybe a Farscape Silver Screen feture could be on the horizon. never give up doubt, and never give up hope. But there are going to be a handful of Stargate SG-1 movies, and i do believe Ben and Claudia signed on for those.

I really loved watching Farscape. So sad it's all over. I miss those guys. Every time they've got into trouble I used to thing "Wow they can't get out of this one, can they?" but they did and in a very amazing way. I hope this isn't the last trouble they've got into and the project Farscape will continue until it's real end.

I was a real fan, ever week I watched it religiously.
