  • im goin dow to ft lauderdale and doin some pier fishing this march, and i was thinking about pickin one of these rods up, any suggestions

  • @fishinbonita4life if you are pier fishing, I would look into getting the 7'9" rod so you can cast further and have enough backbone just in case you hook into something big!

  • @AddictiveFishing i was lookin an the 8' "meat stick" or would the 7'9 be better

thanks love the rig it right segments

  • @fishinbonita4life im gonna go with the 8' then thanks so much

  • @fishinbonita4life either one will work great. Some people are not used to such a long rod, so we recommend a shorter rod first, but if you are looking at the 8 footer . . . it can catch anything!

  • the smooth cast only comes in 20 # test or higher wouldnt that be to heavy for small snook and reds?

  • @saltwaterangler1 20 lb will be fine for small snook and reds and if you happen to hook into a monster, you are covered.

  • how much would that whole combo cost with the braid not the leader

  • @ijoj1 $99 for the flats blue rod, $79 for the sabalos reel and $15 for FINS Original PRT . . . pick up a $10 off coupon from Dick's Sporting Goods . . . under $200 out the door!
