It is then when a Jew is taught to mock Christ.

The few references references to someone called "Yeshu" in the Talmud can't be conclusively proven to be identified with the same alleged personage Xtians believe was Jesus. If so-called "Jesus" existed, he was only one of many Jews who thought he was a Messiah or whose followers thought so. This has happened throughout Jewish history, Shabtai Zevi, Jacob Frank, etc. And yes, I studied Talmud when I was a child in yeshiva from age 10-16, Bava Metziah, Berakhot, Bava Kama.

In other words, in 6 years of yeshiva regime you only grasped 3 talmudic tractates and had no idea about the remaining 60?

The hard reality that someone like you has to deal with is that for the most part, religious Jews don't "mock" your godling, so-called "Jesus". He simply does not exist. I am totally not religious now, I eat non-kosher food and I desecrate the Shabbat, but when I was raised in an Orthodox home and attended Orthodox Jewish schools as a lad, the subject of Jesus SIMPLY NEVER CAME UP. But now that I am a grownup , I'll mock Jesus (and every other religious figure) as much as I want.

If the "Yeshu" references in the Talmud that upset "Chonitin" even do refer to the same person as Christians think was "Jesus," it was merely the Jews of that time mocking what seemed to them the absurd beliefs of a group of fellow Jews.
