Am I missing something? Every one in the comments said that the iMac boots faster, when the iMac takes twice as long to boot OS 9

@K2ACP OS 8* and it did boot up slower, but it shut down quicker.

Your Macbook is really slow on startup. My pro takes like 20 seconds.

wow...your macbook is pretty slow...i recomend a clean up... good program for cleaning caches and all of unwated stuff are : CleanMyMac , MacKeeper and OnyX

Yeah, I can see that the iMac is pretty much faster...did the MacBook initialized 1 year before the old iMac or it was just an illusion?
