  • There's good science that shows skipping meals especially breakfast is very healthy and can help weight loss and appetite. I think no one really knows the truth. unless you do the tests yourself.

  • absolute truth and logical :)

  • That explains a lot! Thank you! Love your videos.

  • The thing is I'm not hungry in the morning , I only eat when I'm hungry

  • I am so nervous before school that I can't eat.

  • @TheLoserKingdom hey, why are you nervous? I used to feel terrible when i had music, as the teacher was as near to evil as can be ...screaming at the children when we did not know how to read music notation....I really was nervous on those days.

  • @rainbowsalads Typical 'Mondayitis'. Now that I have gotten into raw foods, it is much easier to have breakfast, such as a smoothie or a juice. Yet, sometimes I just do not have the time to eat. Very bad, I know.

  • With all the scientific studies that show that fasting will increase your life I don't believe skipping ANY meal is unhealthy. And I suspect that "break-fast" (breaking your nightly fast) is likely the WORST meal of the day. The reason being is it takes your body out of a fasting mode that is very healthy and healing for you. I normally don't eat until 2:00 PM everyday and I'm not hungry during those hours. My weight is a healthy 180 lbs, I'm a 6 foot tall man and have no health problems at 47.

  • @imikewillrockyou I agree with you , but I think she means that ppl will over eat at dinner...but I do believe you can get used to not eating breakfast...plus over eating at night is soooo not cool:( been there done that...done it all actually

  • @vicky2c Basically what I do is confine all my eating to within 8 hours of the day. That gives me 16 hours of fasting everyday. I feel really good doing that. So in my thinking skipping breakfast or dinner will do the job. I'm not hungry in the morning so that makes it easy to skip breakfast and eat a late lunch and reasonable dinner. btw, lunch for me is normally very light and includes a whole grain.

    All the best, Mike

  • YES, RIGHT-ON ..this is why they called it Break -----Fast ,, we are breaking the chain of Fasting .......skip morning meals and you will not skip through the drops in all the chemicals that are going to break you down during the day and put moods , lethargy, fog, low energy and BAD PERFORMANCE IN ALL ASPECTS OF FUNCTION

  • Skip when your not hungry, not just because. If your hungry eat, if not skip it or just grab an apple or something small or even a juice. Just my opinion!

  • I am wanting to begin a raw diet starting tomorrow (inspired by your raw food challenge), but I still have cooked, packaged, & canned food in my kitchen. Do you have any advice for resisting or eliminating these foods, since I don't want to just throw them away? Also, I seem to be addicted/emotionally attached to some of these foods even though they are healthy: whole wheat home-ground flour, natural peanut butter, & natural honey. How do I get un-addicted from these foods?

  • whats your breakfast , lunch, and dinner look like?

  • Thank you for answering my question! I love your videos! Keep making them.

  • I am usually up at 530 am when I work and 7 am when not.

What works for me is drinking water first thing been doing this for decades now.

Then I am usually ready to eat about a hour to two after I wake up.

I try and eat the bulk of my food in the day then sometime at night I am still feeling satisfied and just have a salad for dinner.

The boredom eating can be a problem sometimes though. Vegan whole foods diet is working for me right now.

  • This is so me! I hate breakfast, I do not feel hungry at all! And... I always eat before going to bed because I feel starved! And then I wake up tired, duh! I will keep my awareness on my attitudes. Thank you so much Natasha, that was a very helpful video :)

  • you know I think you really hit the nail on the head here, so to speak. You just explained my number one problem. I wake up in the morning not feeling hungry so I over-eat later at night and its hard. Even eating an apple feels like too much in the morning.

  • I saw the headline and said, DUH! haha By now, everyone should know the answer to this question.

  • @bulabula80 I surf da web, clean, watch tv, and I am constantly sipping herbal teas/ or other decaf teas (unsweetened of course) when I'm bored. ^^ hope dis helps

  • @kaede103084 thanks :)

  • @bulabula80 I would like to know the answer to that question also! Is there a secret or something that skinny people do? Or is there just something wrong with my brain? I just think of food all the time when I'm at home.

Come on Skinny people! Please let us know what to do!!

  • @lanto1 I eat all through the day I snack on raw carrots , raisins, nuts apples, and drink plenty of water and I try to get in at the minimal 30 minutes of walking a day my motto is if your hungry eat, just eat really healthy foods .

  • @bulabula80 Get a job or hobby.

  • Good topic & I totally agree. I feel terrible if I go to bed with much food in my stomach but my husband wants to munch on sugary stuff before bed at night & then he even gets up when he's already been lying in bed for a while &get some food, it blows my mind because i'm never hungry before bed or in bed. He also hasn't been sleeping restfully for a long time, I've told him it takes his body on blood sugar swings. We eats raw & healthy all day until his night munchies. Any advice?

  • hey natasha :) great video as allways :) , i was wondering what you think of tony ferguson? i am not using it as a long term thing just to really kick start my weightloss for summer, i also have PCOS and it has been recommened diet for that. Would love to know your opinion! thankyouu :):)

  • I'm vegetarian and was hoping, soon enough, to be come vegan (maybe to become a raw foodist, eventually its what im hopeing to become!) but like you said in the video, i always get hungry in the later part of the day and never feel hungry in the morning. What can you recommend to stop it though? Earlier nights? Later breakfasts, skipping breakfasts and just having a big lunch? Thanks! :) you are such a big help for me! :)

  • I totally agree :) another great vid ;)
