I really don't think that kindergartins should be taking care of any of those chicks such as a parent or a teacher that teaches the class. It's not safe for any of the chicks and what are they going to do after the chick grows up? Who is going to take care of it during the weekends? If a parent qould take the cage to their home, the chicks would probably get sick from the bumpy ride.
i have the same type of incubator and sometimes it seems helpful for the chicks when we put metal hose-clamps around the eggs lined with an old cloth (aka ripped up bed sheet) to 1) catch the eggschell peices aand 2) to keep the rolling chick from dirturbing the other chicks.
