  • It is funny how sometimes you say something and then it happens and people wonder why they could not prepare, or if so why it is important not to address problem correctly. On June 26 Fort Calhoun Nuclear Generating Station was flooded and was fairly close to a disaster. Yet people seem persistent on constantly hiding any kind of information that goes against their ideology or economic interests.

  • It's Fukushima, not Fukushimi. Other than that... Interesting interview.

  • I think people are getting a little too specific to what kind of disaster would disable a plant, for example what about rapid flooding? Nuclear technology has improved allot over the years, however they have most likely become more complicated, which some redundant features. Also the nuclear waste produced by the current nuclear reactors which is 70% of the fuel is very similar to carbon because there is no where to put it cheaply it is an added expenditure on top of the reactor price tag.
