  • Law Enforcement Against Prohibition LEAP[]CC .That is all I can say. Write your federal representatives Congress[]org. Keep speaking out and keep up the objection to prohibition.Prohibition is a failed policy. Addiction belongs in the domain of healthcare not clogging the criminal system.I want violent rapist, murderers and genuine criminals behind bars. Not drug users. Alcohol was once prohibited and it created the Gangsters. Now we create deadlier drug cartels in other countries & thug police.

  • I live in Missouri and I am ashamed, YESYESYES!! Very excessive force! Total uncalled for and I feel they should lose their job!!!

  • @sinnanisfey those motherfuckers deserve to lose their fucking lives.

  • I think the police should each go to prison. They have laws pertaining to the use of deadly force.

You also have a right to defend your home. Someone shouting "police" does not stop the bill of rights. Does it? If it does then the penalty for breaking the ruls should be severe as a counter to abuse of power. So abide by the words of Thomas Jefferson. And the provissions set as laws of the land and the very laws that they say we should die to preserve.

  • All that body armor they were wearing and they feel threatened by a small dog? Fucking bullets couldn't hurt them let alone a god damn dog!

  • always interesting to read comment made by people with no law enforcement experience... "tranquilizers" ? What swat team issues those for drug search warrants... Guess most folks have never beenbitten by a pitbull... Anyway,i wasn't there and I'm surethe officers followed their Departments Policy... So blame the dept... Or better yet, don't deal drugs and SWAT won't serve warrants on ur hse at midnight..

  • @RazedTearz Guy wasn't a dealer, he was a user

  • They have n o right to enter another mans house period. Should be a no go.

  • Agreed. When 5 cops enter a home to take down 1 guy, and kill the 2 family dogs, that is what I would call excessive force. But beyond that, it's just cruel and inhumane.

These guys need to be fired. Not just reprimanded, but fired. They just destroyed a family over some drugs. That is unacceptable.

  • The cops might have been on drugs?

  • I agree with you, uncalled for. You are wrong on one part of the video; even if it's an aggressive dog.. Protocol dictates that when facing domestic animals you're supposed to use tranquilizers.

  • With all of that body armor it would be almost impossible to be injured by a dog. Making it completely unnecessary to shoot and or harm dogs or people.

  • I think we're starting to become a police state...I also think ALL drugs should be legal. Ultimately it would lead to fewer people using drugs, in the long run. I think it's ridiculous that we call this a free society while the government can regulate what we can or cannot put into our bodies. That being said, even if it were ok for such regulation, this sort of force is intended for hostage situations, domestic terrorism, and other such hostile scenarios.

  • @The3rdPlateau Also, I think these kinds of resources are seldom used on far more serious & violent crimes; even selling large quantities of far more serious drugs such as methamphetamine or crack cocaine doesn't warrant this kind of police raid; all of the dealers' customers CHOSE to buy from him, so it isn't like he's harming anybody against their own will. Furthermore, this raid was conducted based on the testimony of an informant, whom often have ulterior motives & unreliable information.

  • I know a lot of good cops. These were not good cops. SWAT raids were meant for HOSTAGE situations, not marijuana and unpaid traffic tickets. WHY DON'T THEY ATTACK CHILD RAPISTS WITH THE SAME ZEAL, BASED ON ANONYMOUS TIPS?!?!

Personally, I hope they choke to death on their own vomit. They have damaged the credibility of good police across this nation.

  • I PLEA THE FIFTH.

  • The fact is over 90,000 people are put into federal prison for marijuana each year. The war on drugs is a business and so it will never be legalized. And over 700,000 (55% of all crime) is the arrest of people who use drugs.

Legalize pot and if that works legalize everything else and make it a health issue not crime issue.

  • Abuse of power? Um, yeah, I think so. They are not the only ones tho. Check out Washington. Almost all of them abuse their power. Hell, they even get to vote on their own raises which is our money. Who else gets to do that?

  • abuse of power. our gov at work

  • fuck these swat faggots. they know they're guilty and they deserve all the karma that bites them in the ass

  • There is no place for tactics like these here!!! They dress like Nazi SS Soldiers! They destroyed a family Look at Ruby Ridge, Look at WACO and countless other HORRERS Look at how they Gunned down William Cooper tried to say he shot at them and ran he had 1 leg because they ran him off the road trying to kill him well they finally did MURDER him!

  • Excessive power Absolutely!!! They are not in a War zone even if they were you dont shoot INNOCENT pets or Terrorize a family in there own home!!! This is America! Bidens War on drugs needs to be Abolished it is nothing but a cover for War on Americans!!!

  • Google - Columbia Mo SWAT Raid 2/11/2010

To find and sign a petition, accounting those policemen responsible for their actions.

They're Police, They're NOT the Law, and They're NOT above the Law. They should ALSO be held responsible for their crimes.

  • Remember prohibition? still doesn't work. the drug war is an utter failer, what you seen in that video happens hundreds of times a day. It's costing us tax payers around 40 billion a year to keep this up and now their are more drugs on the street than ever, especialy since our soldiers are tending to the afghan poppy fields and with a little help from the CIA they fly it right on in, so they can put it on the street and bust you for it!

  • Absolutely agree.....and what's worse is the thought that this sort of thing happens more often than we even know. Their actions were disgusting, and more akin to robot storm troopers than humans. Nice vid.

  • both dogs were killed and both dogs were restrained.

  • heard it was all over a small amount of weed

  • Remember kids never talk to the pigs. If a pig wants to talk to you say, "I have nothing to say." If you are arrested and the pigs want to interview you for a statement just say, "I want an attorney." The pig will read you your Miranda rights before the interview and tell you that you have the right to have an attorney present. Tell the pigs, "I want an attorney." You can't trust the pigs they are criminals who work for the KOSHER MAFIA

  • @frankdavisla I made a video response to these cowards...please watch,comment,repost

Columbia, MO Police Dept CALL THEM OUT!

    Front Desk 573-874-7652 ext 1

    Investigative Bureau: 573-874-7423

  • @frankdavisla Here is the exact phrase I have memorized. "I mean no disrespect, but I have no information for you. Am I being detained?" And added after an arrest should be "May I contact my lawyer?" This and my name and address are the only words I will speak.

  • YES excessive force and I agree the guy who shot them is a pussy or had a personal vendetta towards this suspect
