I have a problem with this song. See, I used to think Horrorpops were all fun and games. Then this Kiss Kiss Kill Kill album. Great sound. Fun songs. But then you hear the Miss Fit track where she denounces people judging her and you're like "hell yeah! Stop judging people based on their appearances and tastes!" AND THEN SHE DOES EXACTLY THAT IN THIS TRACK. That, to me, meant that Patricia Day was dishonest. Completely lost all respect for her since.

Vincent - I don't even like this band but you've got your decades all fucked up. Firstly, the 70s actually started your "alt" genres - goth, punk, post-punk etc. crossover music. Most was invented already by the 80s.

Secondly, the 50s had its own counterculture - subversive rockabilly like "Cocksucker's Ball" and stuff by Hasil Adkins and such. You're only looking at conventional rockabilly.

Thirdly, you can't pinpoint it to any decade.
