I'm a man in my late 40's. Used to race a lot on the street. Are Audi's really that well known for racing?

I can't take a trip on the highway without some young guy pulling up next to me wanting to race. Also, is 147 mph the top speed for a stock 2.0 A4? It's a 2008.

Correct me if im wrong. I think it is 155mph and that is limited.

@o2Topgun008 I'll take your word for it after today. Had the car for about two weeks, and came to a stop light were I put it into sport mode. Took off from the light and noticed the higher shift points as I merged onto the highway. Then I noticed I was moving at 90 mph before I was on the highway! Caught me off guard , and almost got a ticket from a traffic cop! No power down low, but boy, that thing will run up top!

my 08 a4 s-line 6mt did just about 6sec before the tune, now its in the high 5's. the 2.0t is pretty reliable. #1 on Wards engine list from 06-2010. It is highly modable too. I am at 210awhp and get 33+mpg hw avg.

Also I have 70k on mine and ride it real hard. I know a guy with 130k+ on his and 330awhp and still no issues.

@o2Topgun008 A stock a4 2.0T does NOT do a 5.9 0-60 its around a 7.7sec My A4 which was Chipepd, intake, full exhaust, and stge 2 clutch did it in 5.8 seconds

@radu0505 You sure about that? i mean it was a cold day and a good launch. Thats what my dynolicious app recorded. Anyways if it was or wasent, it doesent matter i no longer have this car

@Storm7289 Well for a first car I can afford the car and insurance itself, but i dont want to waste my money on fixing it up or getting a new transmission every year or so you know? Ill just stick to like a impreza wrx or a acura rsx, maybe even a 325 bmw, Ill see..

@Storm7289 Just commuting to school practice etc. I want somewhat of a sportier car, not a civic or toyota. I looked into a Acura RSX a BMW 325i Subaru impreza 2.5 rs and maybe a MINI Cooper. For now its what ive been looking into.
