oh well hes projected at number 1 next year after he leaves kentucky. kinda like derrick rose in my mind but not quite as good yet. i think he'll be good in college like rose was tho. on the other hand lance is goin to cincinnati, not as high profile at all

yeah the Big East is up there in competition but the competition does NOT involve cincinnati at all. kentucky is actually going to be a title contender

The best basketball conference is the Big 12.. The big east only had one good year because of the draft class before that. That's why the entire NCAA sucked last year, that entire 09 North Carolina team steam rolled everyone all year and Kansas beat that exact same Carolina team in the final four in 08. at one point in the first half up 40-12..
Pretty much saying the draft class was strong so the NCAA teams in 09 really weren't good except Carolina where no one entered the draft.

Who thinks that? Big East is going to be weak this year. SEC is going to be weaker. UConn, Louisville, Pitt, Villanova, Syracuse all got hit hard with departures. Big Ten has the best returning talent pool in the country. Purdue and Michigan State are top 5 teams preseason, with weaker teams like Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota and Penn State likely spending more than a few weeks in the top 25. Get ready for some slow play, you're about to see a lot of Big Ten basketball this season.

Oh, and would you look at that. 4 of the 11 Big Ten teams preseason ranked Top 25. Michigan State is top 5 (2), Purdue is top 10 (7). No conference will garner a higher percentage rate of tourney berths this year, we'll likely be able to send 8 of 11.

Stephenson has a lot to learn. He's hasn't really matured since this game. He's still a selfish talent who thinks he's God's gift to basketball. No wonder the big boys of college hoops won't touch the kid.

His immaturity is not that of a ''selfish'' player. His immaturity is him being unable to control his emotions. He takes everything seriously. Almost getting into fights at all star games because he feels guys are playing around too much. The guy REALLY cares about BBall the point that if his ball career doesn't take off, I can't see what else he'll be good in. He didn't learn to play with other stars because he never had any. He does have off court issues though, but thats just bad judgment
