I lucked out on a used copy of "On the Shore of the Wide World" for $2. This is still my favorite car commercial to this day. It's too bad Pontiac went under. What an amazing car company. I'd rather Saturn had gone.

I remember being quite struck by the first commercial they put out, the one with the M83 song attached. Very good ad campaign. Sadly, my experience with an '89 Grand Prix makes it quite hard for me to give the product another shot, but that could change. The ad seriously gave me goosebumps first time I saw it, fantastic work.

Does anyone know that song in the newer Pontiac commercial (it's always played during college football games on ESPN)... anyways, it's hard to understand....but it goes something like "...bring it on back..." (?) male voice.....and the hair is driving down a windy road?

Pontiac hasn't Built Excitement or anything remotely innovative or exciting since the Fiero, and now GM killed the real F-Bodies to replace them with Holdens and the Kappas. Pontiac used to be GM's flashy, exciting line... =(
