I live has Lyon and then if you said that it is dirty be going to ailleur parceque I am French but grace has n site I can translate into English and to say to you the station and not the station(resort) as you said there are cleaning ladies who crosses(spends) tou in daytime brooms OK to go goodbye
I rode the TGV a couple of days ago and the noise that plays is really cool but gets annoying after the 13 time(they play it over and over again!) The Lyon station which is shown here is actually quite dirty but the Aix-en-Provence station is VERY CLEAN!
You can't beat french railways. I used to travel on commuter trains into paris every day, and I love that little tune at the beginning of an announcement, so much better than the three bongs in Britain!!

I francesi stanno un milioni di anni luce davanti a noi per quanto riguarda i treni. Pulizia, velocità, prezzi.
Io per andare a Parigi da Nizza ci metto 5 ore e mezza e spendo la bellezza di 50 euro andata e ritorno.

Se si parla di altà velocità, allora sono d'accordo...e si parla di servizio regionale, beh...non è che sia molto meglio di quello italiano.
Le ferrovie non sono solo TGV, EUROSTAR, Intercity, ecc...
