I wish Nat Turner succeeded in whipping out every last one of those devils so we wouldn't have to be in this mess today. The River of Wellbeing (each one of us) is flowing into the Great Ocean that is Manitou (or whatever else one chooses). Going against our natural instinct to Love unconditionally is a learned habit. Thats the good news. It can be unlearned. The shortsightedness of industrial wo/man is not where 'we' live. In principle 'we' are timeless. of Great past, deep future right here and now in this hot moment pulsing....whatever we decide to. And from that drum of heart we are creating our now.

All of our lessons require a consequence that appears in a negative form. This is the nature of learning, and so even if it requires centuries to arrive at the desired outcome, we endure in the name of progress. THIS is work and it has no time-frame...only the intent that set it in motion. Just a thought.

this is why i am proud to be hopi. we are one of the last native americans who still practice their ceremonies. i wish i had lived back then to see how different the songs and dances were.

I am the descendant of the Northern Irish that were treated the same way by the English. My people were imperialized by the English and then kidnapped and enslaved in the Americas.
