That's pretty cool, I guess. Personally if I wanted to use a carabiner system I would just run some 550 cord through the lanyard hole and attach that to the carabiner, but I applaud your ingenuity.

On the blue one unscrew the lid all the way and put in on the other end and set the flashlight on a table. Now the flashlight is a candle.

thats a pretty neat idea,escpicalially how it works with the tail accuated switch.

Does the led conversion make the light much brighter and even,if so which one did you use the nite-ize?

Hi, I actually don't remember the name of the LED conversion kit but I got it at Lowe's for $10. I think it is actually a little brighter. thanks for you comment.

How many LEDs are there, and do they come in different amounts? Like 3, 6, or 9 leds

mine has 3 led's, but there may be kits with multi led's available. only thing is the led's would have to be smaller to have more, so I am wondering if it would cancel out any increase in power?

I just use a little metal keychain loop on the end of a carabiner, and slip my minimag through it and since the bezel is larger than the body, it hold it in place when you hang it on a belt loop.
