@Mr111989 No no, I agree. What I'm saying is that there are 3 kinds of substance abuse treatment. 1. abstinence (standard 12 step), 2. Aversion therapy (using drugs like Antibuse to train the body to not use drugs in order to avoid getting ill) and 3. Harm reduction (teaching the client how to use responsibly at some point). None of these will work if the treatment doesn't include therapy for what's driving the addiction.
