They aren't unique at all. It is not that they sound like Tool or something that isn't why I said that. They don't push any boundaries with there music. They will fade into obscurity along with a million other musicians. They seem to attract a certain type of person who is looking for a certain type of thing. sorry guys... sounds good but need a better eq recording, vocals are very poor. great voice but eq vocal setup need to be sharper. Nice drums though, sounds unique! Keep crankin!
@remokays I agree with you, this is from their first album though. I love all three of their albums, but there is a huge difference in the mastering between their first album and the other two.
I just want to say, Rishloo hits me deep. My best friend favored this band over them all. When she left this world its one of the things I remember her by. Rest in Peace Raven.

So if I happen to enjoy Master of Puppets and Lateralus, I will be combusted by a thousand Cthulu spawn that dance and sing and snort cocaine off my broken body? The more likely thing that will happen is I will enjoy both albums and get on with my life. I call this semantics.
This song grew on me... I've played it over 5 times in a row. I wish it were longer though. Can anyone tell me some Rishloo songs that are like this one?
Tool is hands down my favorite band. But these guys have a great sound that resembles some of Tools progressiveness. It is impressive to me that I could even compare them.

Now adays music is full of people sampling and not giving credit. Crysis 2's trailer has Frank Sinatra only its all fucked up and full of rap, and general mainstream crap is full of that, like its cool to steal from the 80's now. Inspiration and then building songs from the ground up is different, that's what this is, if you were in a band and had the ability to resemble any other bands sound, why wouldn't it be the best band out there?

In fact you could even say a lot of early Metallica songs were yoinked from other artists such as Motorhead, The Misfits, and King Diamond. Im personally not a fan of any of these bands except Motorhead, but im tired of hearing so many people crown Metallica some type of godfathers when they arent.
