  • I cant believe Rishloo broke up. So sad.

  • They aren't unique at all. It is not that they sound like Tool or something that isn't why I said that. They don't push any boundaries with there music. They will fade into obscurity along with a million other musicians. They seem to attract a certain type of person who is looking for a certain type of thing. I am sure that have very limited tastes in music themselves. Sorry, first downvote.

  • @aryasangha0125

they are unique just because he sounds similar to maynard means you have to downgrade a great talent what you think they have to go on mtv to be succesfull or the radio they sell out in the nw i appreciate your opinion but who else now days is not puttin ouy pop music to sell records atleast rishloo has talent and there not for everyone one but dont say they are limited

  • This sentence needs punctuation.

  • @aryasangha0125 It's not for people with a room temperature I.Q. So move along!!!!

  • people all say how it sounds like tool? if anythign it sounds more like apc but i personally think it sounds alot like early chevelle

  • sorry guys... sounds good but need a better eq recording, vocals are very poor. great voice but eq vocal setup need to be sharper. Nice drums though, sounds unique! Keep crankin!

  • @remokays I agree with you, this is from their first album though. I love all three of their albums, but there is a huge difference in the mastering between their first album and the other two.

  • @axherm95 That's my fav band :)

  • The pictures fit very well! Just like Rishloo they have this strange dark fantasy in themselves...

  • @JustATiredBoy i think like you, so lonely and sad.

  • Enjoy the music and SHUT THE FUCK UP!

  • This is my all time favorite Rishloo song, after listening to their albums over and over again, I have decided. : P

  • I just want to say, Rishloo hits me deep. My best friend favored this band over them all. When she left this world its one of the things I remember her by. Rest in Peace Raven.

  • or, how any student emulates his/her mentor until he/she knows enough to move in their own creative direction. to accomplish what Rishloo has on this album is both commendable and speaks volumes to what they may become in the future, not to mention their present technical proficiency and emotional depth. It's good to hear bands that listen to and recognize good influences, as we have far too many of the Seether/Theory of a Deadman/Nickelback clonechildren pissing in our eardrums.

  • While one can argue that rishloo "sounds just like" or "imitates" other bands, (I hear elements of Volta, Coheed, Deftones, and a host of other familiar sounds beyond merely that of Tool and Metallica) remember that it is quite common for young bands to be derivative, and combining the sounds of other bands is often the first step to finding their own voice-much in the same fashion that talented young painters learn their craft by copying the old masters.

  • check out fair to midland musical chairs...thank me later or give me ur feedback...thanks

  • lol i don't even know why i scroll down sometimes, honestly people.

  • if cool bands like this are you thing

    check out

    LizZard The Orbiter (on youtube)

by the way..fuck..great music that is Rishloo!!

  • So if I happen to enjoy Master of Puppets and Lateralus, I will be combusted by a thousand Cthulu spawn that dance and sing and snort cocaine off my broken body? The more likely thing that will happen is I will enjoy both albums and get on with my life. I call this semantics.

  • This song is so addictive. The melody is really original and unique.

  • This song grew on me... I've played it over 5 times in a row. I wish it were longer though. Can anyone tell me some Rishloo songs that are like this one?

  • This song is fucking sick

  • Tool is hands down my favorite band. But these guys have a great sound that resembles some of Tools progressiveness. It is impressive to me that I could even compare them.

  • @Dopewars3000 Amen to that, brother!

  • Today's music might still have a chance to shine if we support beautiful music like this.

  • Well it wasn't weird to find comments of people comparing rishloo with either metallica or tool..

but come on, the two most rated comments on this video are about a metallica vs tool discussion? really?

I don't fucking like tool or metallica, i don't like almost any metal at all, and i do not consider rishloo metal or similar to any of those bands..

Stop being so retarded, at least check the fucking facebook page of Rishloo:

    "Rock/Alternative/Progressive/Experimental/Psychedelic", No, not metal

  • @sebaba001 Your getting way to rigid about your genres. Just listen to music which sounds pleasant to you, ignore the fact that it's labeled one genre or another. It's a closed-minded way to approach music. It's like saying you don't like cherry-flavored lollipops because you don't like cherries, when in actuality while they both have a similar taste, there flavor is still completely different.

  • @LeeRLang don't worry i'm not close minded, cause i've listened to many metal bands trying to like it or digest it, i listen to more than 15 music genres, though i'm not realling counting, i say i don't like metal cause i don't know any metal band i like, maaaaybe rata blanca a little bit

  • Now adays music is full of people sampling and not giving credit. Crysis 2's trailer has Frank Sinatra only its all fucked up and full of rap, and general mainstream crap is full of that, like its cool to steal from the 80's now. Inspiration and then building songs from the ground up is different, that's what this is, if you were in a band and had the ability to resemble any other bands sound, why wouldn't it be the best band out there?

  • Regardless of the anger over the comparison of Tool and Rishloo...Tool has still been mentioned like 50 times in the comments...I mean look! Tool, I see Tool at the bottom, Tool at the top, Tool in the top comments...Tool...

  • @Chr0maticAttack My favoriteband of all time is Tool, but I know what you're saying. They're mentioned in every prog or post-metal video.

  • @Chr0maticAttack Its because of their awesomeness :P. Peace haters.

  • @Valkery09 Tool is my favorite band...

  • I hate when good bands get dissed because they're similar to another great band. Think about it people, if bands of the same genre didn't sound similar, the best genre's would die out. Sure, they have a similar sound to Tool, but the lyrics and delivery is all their own.

  • I don't know why y'all are arguing about Metallica and TOOL, they are both icons from two different genres. This is a Rishloo song, talk about Rishloo.

  • @linkinmylog no offense to Rishloo fans, i just heard their first song "Omega" for the first time. I liked it but Rishloo is so much a copy of the great Tool.

  • Rishloo is a beautifull band, full of intriguing, powerfull, sorrowfull and deeply vibrating sounds, just as tool is.

Just enjoy them both and stop arguing.

  • This band is great if you're into this worthless sound I hear produced over and over again.

  • OMG so, awesome!!!!! So Beautiful can't wait to see them in AZ!!!!!

  • isn't it interesting how so many people are trying to compare rishloo to this band or that band. they have their own sound as does any band worth listening to. and i'd much rather spend the time appreciating it and getting lost in it like the wonderful drug it is rather than dragging totally unrelated people into an already perfect equation, wouldn't you?

  • Neither can diss Tool or Metallica. Both are icons of a different nature.

  • For some reason, I'm getting more Alice in Chains out of this than Tool, but it doesn't matter what it sounds like when it sounds so AWESOME. lol

  • Awsome!

  • Awsome!!!

  • Any band whose singer sings in minor scale, does dark progressive metal, and has a bass guitar on full tremble WILL be compared to the likes of Tool...

  • Rishtool

  • I love this song!!

  • i'm so glad i decided to check this band out. as a big fan of this type of progressive metal! FUCKING AWESOME BAND!

  • why are such goods bands always the most underrated?

    love rishloo..amazing song!

  • i think im i love with you for putting this song on youtube :)

  • How are this band not millionaires?

  • it seems like something is missing from rishloo songs when you read the lyrics, but when you listen to them it all makes sense. i would recommend people listening to the song before reading what he says because written words can't describe the feeling you get when you hear the spoken words and music

  • Comment removed

  • stop thinking in narrow-minded categories friends. that's your only problem.

  • good sound and cool atmosphere but there are only one Tool in the world, and people should not act like them

  • @MorbosDevilGrinder you're so right!!

  • @MorbosDevilGrinder you're so right ....but a new tool album isn't here soon

  • @MorbosDevilGrinder Yeah man Tool's the only progressive rock band out there! the other fools are just ripping tool off!

  • @MorbosDevilGrinder

.... ever heard of musical evolution?

  • @InvertedBomber ever heard of musical plagiarism? why try to do a genre who someone else have 'invented' it and can do it better than you... why don't try to make something new and personal, instead of trying to make atmosphere that someone else does... THIS is evolution... now there are only copies of old band who have nothing new to say... music influence is a point, act like a yet existing band is another...

  • @MorbosDevilGrinder

This is true. But, what of the other music genres? I am sure one person originally made it. Then someone else came along liked it and decided to add on. Now I admit their songs sound a lot like them but they are still starting out. Let them branch out a little more before the criticism begins.

  • @MorbosDevilGrinder Why is it that anytime anyone does something different in music they say they are trying to be like tool.. Have you even listened to Rishloo? They have a completely different sound than tool... Ive talked with rishloo many times .. They arent trying to be like Tool ... Why am i even bothering with an idiot like you .. Can you even make music? Or are you just some fag on the internet? Make your own music so we can all take a shit on it and say your copying someone else

  • @XxExoNine there's a way to do different music... there's a way to act like another band just like Airbourne for Ac/Dc...

yes, i listened to them... they are good musician, and have good ideas, but this is a music that Tool did about 15/20 years ago... is useless still doing it... in rock and metal there's a need of new stuff and new style... peace

  • @MorbosDevilGrinder The old stuff is very much like Tool, but check out some tracks from Feathergun, They are finding their own sound and tool can only be a small comparison.

  • @Spydrfish ok, i will check that work... if they changed their sound into something more personal they'll earn my respect (sorry for a probably wrong sentence but i'm italian)

  • @MorbosDevilGrinder You're a jackass. Opiate was nothing like this. As someone else said anyone that sings like this with talented band behind them that is dark and artistic will be compared to Tool. I have listened to Tool since Opiate (the early 90's) and have every record after. Stop being like the unfaced masses that try to pigeonhole everything into what you can understand.

  • @ameneses27 you should give MorbosDevilGrinder some 'shut the' with that 'fuck up'

  • "Serenity is just a choice of breath away"

  • It is from terras fames? or not?

  • @ineedmoretool

    Yes from Terras Fames

  • oh, you used the apc font at the beginning. this is one of my most favorit songs.

  • What website are the pictures from? They can be used for some philosophy...

  • @Ultraman725 artbywicks.. com

  • Its like Tool and Matalica combined.

  • @brett2822 dont ever mention again metalica and tool in the same sentence... please.

  • @Bring0utYourDead (its Metallica)

  • @jieiks what do i care?

  • @jieiks point still stands, dont ever mention the two in one sentence its just insulting

  • @Bring0utYourDead i dont mean this rudely, but im curious why not?...in your words

  • @Bring0utYourDead HAHAHAHA TOTALLY! What an idiot he is

  • @Bring0utYourDead I know you're just aching to shove your flaring intellect up the Internet's ass by declaring your love for Tool and your utter contempt for Metallica in such melodramatic fashion, but just remember that Metallica were there first and they added the brains to the brawns of heavy metal. However, I'm sure you and your friends will continue to enjoy labeling them "sell outs" while stroking each other's poodles on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

  • @Zuwayed regardless of whether or not metallica "sold out" or not (who cares), they still suck

  • @Zuwayed Metallica are fucking horrible and no brains involved in their music so stfu you fucking moron!!!!

  • @Zuwayed

    You're a bad troll.

    Metallica and brains? LOLOLOL

Though, Ulrich will probably sue you for using their name without permission now, so it's no big deal.

  • @Zuwayed some guy somewhere in time banged two sticks together and there was rhythm. he did it first, everyone else is just copying him. it's all about refining, it's not about who was first. you yourself label him as wannabe intellectual just because he listens to tool. and still you don't want him to label your favorite band. well that's just contradicting yourself. you're probably the type who thought to himself 'how witty' while writing that poodle comment. sorry, it's not. peace.

  • @Xenobiarch It would be stupid to label him a "wannabe intellectual" just because he listens to Tool since they're one of my favorite bands, twerp. Congratulations on completely missing the point.

  • @Zuwayed well if were being honest, there were a ton of people doing what Metallica did long before them as well. In fact you could even say a lot of early Metallica songs were yoinked from other artists such as Motorhead, The Misfits, and King Diamond. Im personally not a fan of any of these bands except Motorhead, but im tired of hearing so many people crown Metallica some type of godfathers when they arent.

  • remindes me of deftones..nice nice

  • @EatMySchwartz61 but then that would mean it would have to suck...

  • good stuff
