Yes I plan to upload all of my Sooty collection including all my "Learn with Sooty" videos soon. Well what I do is copy my tapes to DVD and then copy the files off my DVDs to my Mac and convert and code them into parts to upload on here. It takes quite a while though :)

excellent then I shall be watchin your channel like a hawk then until you do it would be great to see them all again!^^ and I see that's very clever I got no clue how you get video to dvd {is it like stick in video into video/dvd player and then copy them over to dvd?^^} wish I knew how to do that you have a great Sooty channel^^ I missed when Mathew left though he was brilliant and his father too^^ weren't the same after he left^^ who's your fav character?^^

Thanks. Well I have a Panasonic VHS/HDD/DVD machine which copies videos to DVD or HDD and vice versa, so it's very easy to use. Basically what I do is put a tape in and make sure it's at the point I wnat to start copying and then I go to HDD fuctions dubbing and select the time needed and then I watch the tape as it copies to HDD. It's much easier than it sounds!! I agree Sooty wasn't never the same after Matthew left. My fav character is Sweep. Who's your fav character?

wow that must've cost a few bob that's like one of those new super all in one machines^^ was it around 2 to 3 grand?^^ it sounds complicated but if you say it's easier then I'll take your word for it^^ yeah Matthew was one of the best I loved the show since a very young age^^ it's a shame I heard he died but some ppl have comments up which I've seen he's still alive do you know? and aww Sweep is one of my favs too I love Scampi most!^^ {although he came later on lol^^}

Nah, it wasn't that expensive, but we bought it nearly 5 years ago when those machines first came out, so it costed quite a lot at the time.

I'm sure Matthew's still alive as he presented a show called 'Locks and Quays' on TV a while back.

Thanks. No it wasn't taped off the TV, it's from a pre-recorded video I own called 'Sooty's School Trip', which I've had it since I was little. :)
