if you think about it, everyone in hyacinth's family is a little off, rose with her men, daisy and onslow, violet and bruce wearing women's clothing, and the occassional call from sheridan, hyacinth could actuallly be the normal one if she stopped trying to show off, lol

I don't think that Daisy is that off, I mean they are a bit "trashy" but in a nice gentle way. I think that along with having to show up everyone, Hyacinth does not have any consideration for people unless it can improve her appearance in front of other people.
