eg: a group of "goths" or "outcasts" sit around and call everyone else conformers and themselves "non-conformists", but in their own circle they are sheep - they dress the same, have the same outlooks, like the same things, dont like the same things etc. just one example.

if you're yourself, you are not conforming to an idea/fad/group. you are you. you express yourself in the moment as you, not according to any beliefs/ideas etc.

does that make sense? :)
