It's not true that Teen Spirit from Kurt Cobain it's a copy from the Pixies.Yes, he was a huge fan from The Pixies, me too.But he had only fear that some people will think this is like a Pixies copy,and thats more about how he wrote the lyrics.But Kurt told allways,music comes first, lyrics second.and if we wouldn't knew that Kurt told this, not many would make the link from Teen Spirit to the Pixies.If you can play their songs (Nirvana&Pixies) on guitare,you don't find to much equal parts!not 1

Jeez guys the Pixies are great and Nirvana were great, its the whole dynamics thing the Nirvana lads where influenced from, thats where Teen Spirit came from...Teen Spirit was gonna be a throw away because the lads from Nirvana knew themselves it sounded too much like the Pixies.That's what Western music throughout the last 10 century's has done....Evolve. Kurt never denied this and was the first to admit it... Dynamic lad's what ever happened to Dynamics everything to day is too compressed.

@MrPimmetjepom Smells like teen spirit isn't even similar, Kurt loved the pixies' idea of loudness and quietness and he used this alot but i don't agree at all that teen spirit  is an attempt to be like the pixies they're both great punk/grunge artists but are very different and there's alot more to Nirvana than Smells like teen spirit- it's no where near there best song. Love both bands :)
