Yes. As Fuliginosus said, Kiri is still singing. In a tour thought to be her last big tour, her "farewell tour", she's now in the USA. But she's not retiring - she says -, she wants to keep singing but just a little closer to home...

That she does. I saw her last weekend at the Auckland Domain - the city park - performing with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra. Her Marietta's Lied by Korngold was the highlight for me. She lives a some hours up north from here.

Perhaps I shouldn't have said lived - although she's planning on moving back to New Zealand I'm told. But anyway, she has a house in the Bay of Islands - it's gorgeous up there.

Now about moving back... I guess I become a little sad... It's quite good to know that she lives here, in the so near UK, that we live in the same hour...

Beautiful! As much as I like Tebaldi, NO one has a voice as melodious and as luscious as Kiri.
