the quality is not very good. some parts are very elongated causing distortion to the characters. This part can be fixed using Virtual Dub with the resize option. Another problem is the converter logo. You *may* be able to fix that with virtual dub also by using the crop option.

the plot seems ok, but if you want to discern from past to present, I would definitely say to use another effect. Maybe sepia. Look around in movie maker and test things. I watched the video before I read the comments and couldn't tell that there was a difference between the scenes.
