big northern soul fan but i'm ashamed to say only just heard of baby washington this year, was listening to radio leeds northern soul music as per on wednesday evenings and this came on i thought wow i love it grabed a pen wrote it down and thought if i'll find it anywhere it will be youtube, and listened so many times since, THANKS. But then again i'm glad i'm still finding new songs (well old songs) after all this time. Thanks again

I think strings can be as good on a record as they can be bad. It all depends on what you do with them. For instance, Look In My Eyes by The Chantels wouldn't be right without the strings. I think the strings make this record as well.
