Hey Lisa- Is the Egyptian Magic similar to Aquafor? I really dont like the aquafor much at all- it doesnt soak in well and its a little too much like petrolium gelly. But I have extremely dry hands in the winter and I need a cure!

Hi Lisa, Thank you again for another wonderful video. I saw another you tube video about cleaning brushes and they used the Beauty Belnder cleaner for hard to clean brushes and MAC brush cleaner for their other brushes. I bought mine on Sephora. It does work fabulous!
Fun video, Lisa! I have found the best way to apply Private Beach is with your fingers, just as you might a creme e/s. It gives the best payoff that way. Hi Lisa, wanted to tell you about a possible dupe for VS "private Beach", it's a shadow called "antique pewter" by a you tube guru Lauren Luke from her "My Smokey Classics" palette. I got it from Costco for under $20. M/b you can find it on ebay, I wasn't able to compare side to side bc I ended up returning the VS shadow due to the poor color payoff but I think it's close. Love your vids!
Hi Lisa! Not sure if someone already made this suggestion but I have the Sephora Airbrush 55 as well and I use alcohol to clean it. I pour some alcohol in a small container of some sort (plastic or glass) and swish it around. Does a pretty good job of getting it clean. Hope this helps. ~Bonnie

The sephora airbrush 55 is great for chanel bronze universal. I love it for that product. I think my egyptian magic is going bad (smells kind of funny now) but I'm going to use it up on my throat and will reorder just for that purpose. I always bring my face cream down my throat but it's nice that the em is thicker. Great idea. I'm still looking for rose amethyst. My CCO never has it. The search continues. Good to see you again. @airolg23 Oh, goodness--I LOVE a nice tan, but it is not easy--in the spring, I like the Tan Towels or So Bronze spray--in the summer, I wear sunscreen--especially on my face--but I tan my body, SPF 15, usually. Oh and I love using my LY 02 flat pannel brush for loose powder under my eyes not liquid. The powder makes the bristels super soft, and it gives a great control, perfect for NOT over powdering.

Hey Lisa, Okay a really good way top clean your foundation brushes is to use Olive Oil. I use Extra Virgin O.O. pour it into a dish swirl your brush through, gently massage into (a very clean) palm of your hand, dip in brush shampoo(or baby shampoo works) lather and rinse, with luke warm water of course. Follow with drying them on a mircofiber towel and using brush guards, and I always make the brush lays on an angle using a book to heighten one end, to prevent any water getting in the ferrel.
Thank you so much for posting this!!! I have been fighting and hating my foundation brush for some time now (it's a Sonja Kashuk flat brush). All my brushes and some makeup were in my vehicle last year when it was stolen and the SK was what I bought to get by with and as replacing key makeup has been top priority I haven't focused a whole lot on the brush end of things... Also I got Egyptian Magic about 6 months ago and didn't think it was for my skin, after watching your video I put it on my neck, the permanent dry spot under my nose and went to bed. I couldn't believe how nice my skin felt in the morning; so thank you so much for mentioning it and the different uses I wasn't aware of.

I got Private Beach on your recommendation and I simply love the color - it's really unique and so wearable, so I live with the texture which, I agree, is a bit on the difficult side - I guess it doesn't help that I have it with me in my makeup bag all the time, so it takes some beatings :-)

I love that Rose Amethyst lipstick as much! I have managed to collect 17 tubes at CCos (they are only $13.00 there.) I have found that there is a real close dupe that may be worth while for people that can't get that Rose Amethyst. It's NYX Round Lipstick in Sky Pink. I have a couple of those and swatched them and they are pretty much splitting images of each other.

I can't make the paddle brush work either??? I have the Chanel one and I see pixiwoo use it & it looks great? U know how I love the WEN, I order by the gallon & I have found that price/use is just as good as regular shampoo for me, along w/ I don't need all the xtra styling products I use to buy... @airolg23 Oh, goodness--I LOVE a nice tan, but it is not easy--in the spring, I like the Tan Towels or So Bronze spray--in the summer, I wear sunscreen--especially on my face--but I tan my body, SPF 15, usually. I DO NOT recommend tanning beds--I hate that I ever did that! (many years ago) I haven't tried the airbrush--but I want to!! Thanks for watching! Lisa

For your Sephora Airbrush, maybe try pure olive oil. I've heard it really breaks up the foundation in hard to clean brushes.

Great vid and updates, I love my private beach and yes the formula is a funny one, creamy when you swipe with your finger, but strange with brush application. I love these videos of yours. I have a little fluffy pink book that I used to write wishlists in, and I have this fear that it got lost in the move. I remember egyptian magic was in it, as well as that pink eyeco cream that supposedly Kylie minogue uses. That cream looks like something real fun to have. Good video gorgeous.

OH and Lisa I found my very own perfect Boyfriend scent perfume, you gotta go smell it! Its the Men Hermes Cologne.
Oh and I love using my LY 02 flat pannel brush for loose powder under my eyes not liquid. The powder makes the bristels super soft, and it gives a great control, perfect for NOT over powdering.

Hey Lisa, Okay a really good way top clean your foundation brushes is to use Olive Oil. I use Extra Virgin O.O. pour it into a dish swirl your brush through, gently massage into (a very clean) palm of your hand, dip in brush shampoo(or baby shampoo works) lather and rinse, with luke warm water of course. Follow with drying them on a mircofiber towel and using brush guards, and I always make the brush lays on an angle using a book to heighten one end, to prevent any water getting in the ferrel.

All my brushes and some makeup were in my vehicle last year when it was stolen and the SK was what I bought to get by with and as replacing key makeup has been top priority I haven't focused a whole lot on the brush end of things... Hi Lisa, I just got the perfect lip colour and thought of you. It doesn't stay on for too long but the colour is gorgeous it's Dior Addict Ultra Gloss in Negligee Pink 256.
Also I got Egyptian Magic about 6 months ago and didn't think it was for my skin, after watching your video I put it on my neck, the permanent dry spot under my nose and went to bed. I couldn't believe how nice my skin felt in the morning; so thank you so much for mentioning it and the different uses I wasn't aware of.

what a coincidence - I just picked up the Laura Mercier loose mineral foundation, after trying a sample for about a week. I just loved it - loved the coverage, evenness and the ease of application (cleverly designed sifter too!) so I knew I had to have it. I'll have to look for your review and see what brush you use for that.

Clarins lipstick in Pink Earth might be something you'd like - I hope you have that color in the US so that you can check it out. I have it and it became a daily favorite right away.
I got Private Beach on your recommendation and I simply love the color - it's really unique and so wearable, so I live with the texture which, I agree, is a bit on the difficult side - I guess it doesn't help that I have it with me in my makeup bag all the time, so it takes some beatings :-)

WOW it's almost 2011 and still people are judgmental?!! I think it's nothing wrong if someone gets botox or any other fillers.. I am not against it at all.. You know i feel like someone saying oh you went to dentist, or wow you got your nails done?? or your hair is dyed?? If you have a flat tire you get it fixed right? So why not improve yourself?? I love that Rose Amethyst lipstick as much! I have managed to collect 17 tubes at CCos (they are only $13.00 there.) I have found that there is a real close dupe that may be worth while for people that can't get that Rose Amethyst. It's NYX Round Lipstick in Sky Pink. I have a couple of those and swatched them and they are pretty much splitting images of each other.
