  • I thought it was pronounced turkey bAHster? no?

  • thats awesome!

  • nice! i did that kind of with a mcdonalds soda cup. filled it partially with coke, then i took the straw, started beat boxing on a certain angle like a flute and brought the straw up and down while doing it, makes it sound really cool

  • Pay no Attention to this MAN! He is of the DEVIL... only Lucifer himself could have given him this... so-called talent... I call it a curse upon HUMANITY!!! SEND HIM TO THE GALLOWS!!!

    BLASPHEMY!!!!!!!!

no really tho it was kind of cool

  • Trollerskates

  • WOAH WOAH WOAH!!!!

    That is so awesome!!!!!

    :)

  • That is freaking awesome!!!

  • It was fun, and very silly - and I love playing the baster at all my gigs in NE Ohio.

  • This is so cool - I love it. Well done.

  • Thanks - I enjoyed playing the nerdy professor.

  • BEASTERS.

  • This is the baste music in its genre.

  • Gaa ! I wish I'd thought of that. I'll use it on my baster gigs in the future. Thanks !

  • I respond to my baste desires, genreally.

  • Are you using colored baster fluid to make it more visible to the viewers at home? Or is that some other (more potent) substance than water?

  • I use flat, old diet pepsi. If it were fresh, the bubbles would disrupt the liquid surface and ruin the sound. Indeed, I use a dark liquid just so the audience can see how the changing level creates the sound.

  • You are correct !!

  • Brad! I finally "get" your t-shirt! Lol! By the way, any good tips for actually basting a turkey?

  • Glad you got the shirt. It's a little hard to make it out. No, I have no idea what to do with a baster besides music ;o)

  • Brad, you are a genius!

  • Nah, no genius here. I took 10 minutes a night for a few weeks to learn a simple tune. Once I had that down, it was easier to learn other tunes. I am a professional musician, so I have a musical ear. But it still took some work to learn to play the baster - it's a weird horn.

  • Pretty much brilliant.

  • YES YES YES FINALLY. I myself am a novice "baster" as it were and wish there were more of us. I thought it would be a great way to teach my kids about music and pitch. The turkey baster is so inexpensive yet, I think, a viable and playable musical instrument. Just AWESOME to see it. Thank you!

  • Indeed, it's fun, but a lot of work. I'd like to hear your playing someday - I only know of 2 of us in the world.
