what a sad attempt that dodge just exhibited to get sales up. and yea even though the challenger CAN get sideways doesn't mean it should... the guy seemed to be struggling to keep it tight on the cones.
So are these cars on the lots as "DEMOS".....now i will not buy a demo because if i spend that much money on a car i want to be the one to beat the shit out of it first
For the record this looks fun as shit and anyone who turns out to watch cars hauling ass ought to damn well know that they might end up with a couple tons of metal parked on their face if something goes wrong, and if they don't, then they're too damn dumb to live anyway. Every time some bystander dies in a racing accident its "such a tragedy". Fuck them, they knew the risk. If they didn't get behind a barrier or stay a reasonable distance away then too damn bad. Accept the risk or go home.
what? you mean the crowd of people behind the cameraman? the drivers dont even get close to hitting them you nigger, but maybe it would be a danger if they were as shitty drivers as you are
Is there anyone here to actually considers drifting a type of racing? A sport, even? The challenger will leave a wake of victims once they get it set up right. The GTO sucked when it first came out too. Next thing ya know it's got a 6.0L, a nice hood, and dual pipes. Unless Dodge really drops the ball this should be a nice rig.
it doesn't have a limited slip differential, so it's doing the famous "one wheel peel". It also somehow weighs more than a whole bunch of mid-size SUVs.
Enormous weight being lugged around by an ancient chassis without even as much as a limited slip differential? Sounds like a winner to me!!!
The NAG1 transmission is the Mercedes TipTronic version that will take an amazing amount of power without breaking - losing the clutch pedal isn't all that big of a deal with this unit.
All the LX and LY cars have what is essentially a Mercedes S-class IRS rear end, it's an open differental that HAL controls, so yeah you will get a peg-leg burnout from time to time. The way these things handle, porky or not is pretty darn nice.
Well i like Dodge My self but.. i like Chevrolet better. but the thing is we don't know what engine is going in the 09 Camaro SS but w/e ever goes in it it will have some good comp. for the 09 Challenger so i don't know what one will win..
To loose around the corner
Needs to be closer to the cones without spinning

Nice moves but the one wheel burnout perhaps needs to be edited out :) GM needs some help with the rear from Ford.
damian1228 3 years ago
in the very beggining the car has smoke but the tires dont move...wtf?! the viper's the only decent car there...

It's pre-production and limited slip.

MAYBE THERE IS A POINT TO THIS.........
besides showing kids that it is fun to be irresponsible, endanger yourself and others, while wearing the tread off Dad's tires.
Street racing and poor driving kill SO many kids.

hey retard, its a parking lot, obviously an organized event, and couldn't be further from racing.

Lots of fluff and electronics, not enough of the right stuff. Too bad, Dodge could have won with this one.
Two thumbs down.

The 09 has 6-speed manual, I'll wait for that, still better then a Camaro or Mustang though!
HemiPwr70 3 years ago
yea and the 6 speed has the limtied slip!

Are my eyes deceiving me, or is it only doing a peg-leg burnout at the beginning? Does the SRT8 model not have a limited-slip differential?

This comment has received too many negative votes show
too bad its heavier than a boat and the Camaro will rip it up haha.
