seriously u guys are such newbs! First of all hunters are all most invinceable in the front unless u empty your grenades on them...but that's just a waist of grenades. a good way to do it is to shoot it in the back with one or two pistol shots and then melee it in the back a couple times...and there arn't any elites because they are on the UNSC side and this is all about ODST's not anything else.

You should of taken the Hunters as your killing priority before the brutes. Because you are a rubish player if you go for the weaker enemy first.

1. You waste ammo on weaker enemys

2. You get killed by the more powerful ones

3. You will get weakend by the weaker ones

ok first off he/she did not waste ammo they did good on the little guys. and seriously whats a pistol and an smg gonna do to a hunter on legendary? using those on hunters would be wasting ammo. so taking out the little guys was a good option so they could focus on the bigger ones. the real problem though was not switching the weapons.

Actually if you get behind the hunters and hit the weak exposed part of the back you can kill them quite easily with 3 smg magazines (just make sure you keep moving right or they'll hit you).

Note: This will only work in wide spaces when there are no other enemies around.

You can also kill them with only melees, if you get behind them.

Oh yeah there's a rocket launcher hanging above a chair. It can be found just opposite where you start.

It will make your life much easier!

i found the data hive firefight map the easiest to make your stand because you can stay on the top floor and kill the covenant from the doorway without dieing too often. but u gotta be careful when the black eye skull gets on.
